The RZ500 i heard was very under tuned from Yamaha. Heres a link to a slightly modified one. Guess the stock reeds were very restrctive. Just using RD reeds gained a bynch of power. http://www.madmanengineering.com/rz500.htm

Hey thanks..cool bike. I'm hoping a set of CPI out of frame pipes or RNZ's will work on my bike. But i guess if not a chop saw or welder always comes in handy.

Hey guys its been a few years since ive owned a Banshee. But im still in the 2 stroke game but with an RD instead. Seems like BanseeHQ is the place to get the best 2 stroke advice. Has anyone had any experience racing or building one of these bikes? I am looking to get my cylinders ported. My goal is around a 90-100 HP motor. Here is a pic of what i want my bike to be like when im done. This isnt mine but its what im shooting for. Thanks.

I have always rode Suzuki GSXR's but decided to pick up a used ZX-7R this weekend. Was wondering if anyone here has owned any of these bikes and is there a difference in the ZX-7 and ZX-7R?? Ohh by the way this things weighs as much as a Water Buffalo compared to a Gixxer! Thanks.

Ohh the Rz350. Man those bikes were awesome. I regret selling mine about ten years ago. That was 1500 that i wish i never needed. I think there going for twice that now??

I do plan on port work eventually and maybe a big bore kit but i want a pipe that will give me a good power increase with the stock engine while having lots of room to grow with mods. But i dont want to put them on and have a turd cause they moved the power band up so high.

Would either one of those pipes be overkill for a stock Banshee? I do mostly trail and some dune riding.

Ive just started to get the use to doing wheelies. Man there a blast. It helped that i was in the sand and hitting the bar. But after falling off a few times i just learned to keep holding on and tapping the back break to control how far it comes up. Still can only ride them for a few few seconds though.

I took my stock 04 out to Oklahoma this weekend. Had a blast eventhough i was on stock tires while all my buds had paddles. Starting off sucked but once i got rolling it wasnt bad. I'm not going back until i get pipes and paddles. Which should be soon. But anyways that place is kick ass and the chicks at the parts shop are fricken gorgeous.

Ive raced one that had more stuff done to it then that and put a bike on him after 100 yards. But when it came to handling thats a different story.

My 02 had cut fenders and i ride thru alot of muddy trails and frankly never noticed the mud coming off the front tires. My new one has stock fenders and i am thinking of cutting them off to. I agree they dont keep that much crap off of you from the placement.

I got this thing for a smoking deal from a buddy that got laid off. Its all stock but can anyone tell me whats special about it? Just the paint and graphics?? My 02 had FMF Pipes and K+N filter and gearing. So i'm kinda undecided what to do first with this one. But it runs pretty damn good for a stocker. But then again i have never been on a completely stock bike before.

He said it was like a 265?? My bike has just Fatty's K+N filter no air box lid and jetting with a 14/46 gearing. My friends with other Banshees think it might have port work too cause it runs really good for just pipes. I did buy it used so i have no idea what else has been done.
