I run the graydon intake as well. I run a 35PWK on it. i dont know how much they cost new, or if you can even get them new anymore, but i got mine in a trade and definately love it

that happened to me, after riding it for a day it got warm and blew out the o rings in the cool head. i dont know if oyu have a cool head or not, but if so you may want to check that

this happens alot down in south texas with all the salt air. they corrode on, we usually have to heat the nuts up the a torch, and once we do that they come right off

update, we pulled the plugs and one was completely destroyed. the other one was fine but not even and tight. here is a pic http://www.andrewhodel.com/index.php?page=...age&id_src=5757 the pic doesnt do much justice to it, but the electrode is gone, and the ceramic piece inside the threads is gone. i guess this is why it locked up. anyone ever see this before??

ok, my friend was running through the gears in his banshee. all of the sudden it just locked up, he tried to start it, and the kick starter was locked up. we pulled of the clutch cover, and the kick startr is fine, but in neutral we cannot move the clutch assembly at all. we tried with the clutch in and out. It is an almost new motor, but old tranny, is the tranny fried or what?

ok, here is one for the banshee prodigies out there. i rebuilt my banshee's top end not too long ago, and had problems with the o rings in the head, so i ordered some more. my banshee sat for about three weeks with no spark plugs in it, but there was a towel covering the holes. no water got in, but when i put it back together today there was a small amount of rust in one of the jugs which came off with the wipe of a towel. But when i put it together with the new o rings it just wouldnt run right. it starts and idles fine, but when i put it in gear and tried to go it just bogged down and would barely run. i dont have the silencers on right now because i am waiting on exhaust clamps to get in, but i didnt think that would effect it that much. i have never messed with the jetting of the carb, but it ran fine before i rebuilt it so i would assume that it is ok. c'mon guys help please, i need to ride

that happens to all the guys around here(alot of rust due to living on an island with salty ass air). the only thing that worked was to set the bike on its side and pound it out with a sledge.

I have a set of toomey t-5's on my banshee. they are really nasty. covered in rust, and really dull. i know they are good pipes and they dont have any dents in them so i was thinking of getting them chromed. is it worth the money, or should i try to find some nice used ones. also, has anyone had pipes chromed? about how much does it cost??

this happened to me also. check for an air leak on any of your seals. that is what my problem was. after i put a new o ring on my head the shee ran great.

what does a stuck ring mean? hwo do you fix it?

no, i have a graydon 2 to 1 intake, and a kehien 35pwk

i did a compression check and both cylinders hold a good 135 psi. i switched the plug wires and same thing, only smokes out of left side. i switched teh plugs, and same thing also. are there torque specs on the jugs bolting to the crankcase, because that is the only thing i did not torque down, i am just trying to figure out things that i may have overlooked on the rebuild. otherwise i have no idea. I took out the reeds and the look about the same so i dont know?!?!?!?!!

i havent put a pressure tester on it yet. and also i did put the rings on it.

hey guys, i just rebuilt my top end with wiseco pistons and i put a pro design cool head on it with 22cc domes. this is the first time i have rebuilt it, so i probably messed up somewhere. But anyway, i rode it today for the first time and it is only smoking out of the left side, and it is blowing black oil out of the left exhaust. i dont know if somehting is seriously messed up, or what. also it is really weaking out, like it is only running on one cylinder, i am guessing that has something to do with the fact that it is only smoking out of one side. also it is having problems unrevving, the slide on the carb is coming down, but it stays revved up, and sometimes even rapps itself out. really confusing??? any help would be great.
