  1. I've never used the Moose stator, but some in here have, and they say it's good.
  2. Your best bet will be to contact dlnoss, and ask him about the domes.
  3. The porting will affect your compression numbers. Do a compression test, and let us know what it is at 6,000 feet.
  4. The higher the elevation, the smaller dome size you need to keep the compression up. Running the same dome at 6,000 feet elevation, and then at sea level, will mean an increase in compression, as the elevation drops. I don't know if there is a certain dome, that you can safely run at both elevations, and keep it on pump gas, in both. Check with dlnoss, on here.
  5. The one I have, was bought from White Brothers years ago, it was made by Elecrtrex. Here's the address from the paperwork that came with the stator. Electrex USA 2948-S Industry Street, Oceanside, CA 92054 Ph:760-433-0184 Fax:760-433-1052 www.electrex.com It's a G87 250W stator. 2 power wires for the lights, so you have to install another voltage regulator.

  8. You need to put in some 27.5 pilots, then adjust your air mixture screws. 1.5-2 turns open, depending on the temp, and other mods.
  9. What size pilots, and how many turns are the air mixture screws open?
  10. How many watts does it take per light? The stock stator will only put out 75 watts, so the stock lights are only 35 watts per light.
  11. You're going to have to start gathering up some main jets, and pilot jets for those carbs. Since the 27.5s are too small, get a set of 30s, and a set of 35s. No two motors are exactly the same. People in here can get you close on the jetting, the final tuning is up to you.
  12. Follow the wires from the kill switch, to the underside of the gas tank, and see if one of them is unplugged.
  13. CPI's would be a good choice, and the R2's probably would be, also.
  14. The bumper looks like crap. http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=61454&st=15
  15. There is more to the kit, that just a spacer. You really need to order one from FMF.
  16. Any of the site sponsors will have a puller.
  17. Did you by chance happen to put the wrong bowl on the wrong carb, when putting them back together? Stock carbs are bowl specific.
  18. I run CPI's. I trail ride, dune, and do a little dragging.
  19. Alcohol attracts water, and it's also hard on fuel lines, and o-rings, so it can't be left in the carbs/motor.
  20. Your exhaust is designed to be ran with the silencer in place. It will hurt the performance, and be loud as hell without it.
  21. You need to put in some 27.5 pilots, if you're still running the stock carbs. A lean pilot will make for very hard starting.
  22. Are you running stock pipes?
  23. Time for a new top end. At about 100 psi, it's time to rebuild them.
  24. FMF pipes are not crap, but the boost bottles are. If you're just looking for bling, then the finish of the FMF pipes aren't the best, but they do run great.
