  5. They feel like a motorcycle but with four wheels. The days of the ole "couch" seats are over. My buddy with the 450r loves to sit on the shee though. It's like going from a wooden bar stool to a lazy boy.
  6. Big women need love too.
  7. That would be a big negatory. The only thing that I know, it does have is a little bling factor. So buy one, polish it up and it boost's your bling.
  8. Isn't that the truth. Thanks for all the replies guys.
  9. 700 foot lift? Anyway that is pretty cool of the dealership to do that and they should if it was the salesman's fault. I remember when I bought my bike, I took my trailor to pic it up. Some sales guys loaded it up and tied it down. Well thank god I put the kickstand down because on my way home the right side tie down let loose. Talk about almost crapping your drawers when you see your new bike all of the suddent take a left dive in your rear view mirror.
  10. Yea Scott, quite a long time, I bought it in 1995. I used Audio Control equipment before that and it was really hard to tune using them. Had to get in and out of vehicle several times to adjust them while using the RTA. The symmetry has the RDAT, remote data access terminal, and it can be brought to the outside of the vehicle and tune your system in real time. The mic would stay inside from the RTA, you could read the rta outside the vehicle and adjust accordingly. So really the unit is worth its weight in gold. The symmetry has been discountinued from production for a few yrs now but audio control makes a unit that is very similiar with a portable controller also, called the DQL.
  11. My comp system retired in 2001, 2 iasca invitationals and two time regional point champion. Alpine IVA-C800, DVA-5205 & 604 changer, Symmetry EPX-2(E28), Audio Control-Epicenter & ESP-2, McIntosh Mc443 & Mc427 amps, Quart mids & highs, Kicker Xpl 12's, Streetwires 1 fd & 2 1/2 fd caps, Amptech alt. with stealth reg. Sony LCD in the dash Just a few pics I have of some completed stuff. I keep mostly install pics for the presentation since judges can't see behind panels.
  12. Definitely different, very detailed. Probably not the direction I would take though on building a quad.
  13. It's not about the power, it's about the sound quality. I'm runnin 1200 watts, 800 to 2 kicker xpl12's, 400 to 12 mb/quart mids and highs.
  14. Hell with Fosgate, go buy a Mcintosh MCC602TM.
  15. Yea I'd throw more power at the L7's, just because there is more to gain from them, they have more x-max or cone excursion. I'd run a good 250 watts to each of them. An example of my previous post concerning the round 12's. You can find the "dyno graph" output sheet on pretty much any sub if you do some searching on the net. One example was the Kicker XPL 12'' sub, it gained less than 1.5db's going from 100 watts to 400 watts. Hardly worth the extra cost for the power. That is not even audible. Some useless info to most but something to think about when amp shopping for subs. BTW: big difference between a good 100 watt amp and a 100 watt head unit.
  16. If you have the round kicker versus the square "L" series, you will be fine anywhere from 200 to 300 watts. There is little if any to gain in output from a kicker 12'' sub beyond 100 watts.
  17. I would say 200 to 300 watt amp should be perfect.
  18. Exactly the reason I use an exhaust system that doesn't require any clamps.
  19. You need to do a compression check, you may be in need of a set of pistons and rings. Possbily a rebore. Get some compression numbers from each cylinder and get back with us.
  20. Check out your local muffler shop, they can throw some bends on them and brace them together.
  21. If you don't want to do it yourself, you could always PM Holyman, he can do it for you.
  22. Perfect choice of carb and size.
