  1. You can boil water at 70 degree's iin a vacuum.
  2. Yea the wall in your avator looks concrete as well. Be carefull!!!
  3. I really don't understand it myself as well. I think it's a popularity thing. Some people just don't like the popular kid on the block just cause he's popular. Jeff's a great guy, he deserves all the props he gets and I'm sure he will need to clone himself a few times over the next few years just to keep up. Can't knock him, might as well try him.
  4. No kidding!!! Is this common at TT tracks? They could have used old tires, anything would be better than concrete. Aren't these an organized event under some governing body? Don't they have track inspectors? Hate to hear about something that could of been prevented.
  5. Thought about heims a few times. Not much to choose from though. Scott had a set on his shee but then I've heard they have really long studds on them that need trimmed and they are also made by american star, which I'm skeptical on some of their products. The rubber boots won't effect the chroming process, they can stay on there, I'm just wondering if I can seal the lip enough with tape to keep the chromium solution out of the joint. If not it may add plating to the inside of them tie rod joint, which I don't want. Sometimes things are just more a PITA than their worth and I like to find that out before I start it. I can't polish them like I want to or I'm sure they would rust.
  6. Just curious as to any ill effects from chroming them? Anything to watch out for?
  7. Don't waste your money, get some new(er) cylinders or the cubs.
  8. I've had good luck with the renthals other than their a pita to polish.
  9. Outerwears are the most expensive (for what they are) pos I've ever owned. Look at them wrong and they will get a hole in them. They at least ought to double layer them for the price. FMF fatties, worst plate job in the business.
  10. Happy Birthday you two!!!!!
  11. Some guys just have to face the facts, they aren't gonna get head no matter where they live.
  12. Better finding out now than a year from now after he had a sex change operation. Then you find out you have slept with a dickless man for a year. I think would kill him then myself.
  13. Must be your Demographics, cause that is definitely not the case for women in my area. They love doing it, even talk about it like it's common place.
  14. Haha, that was hilarious!!!
  15. dawarriorman is correct!! A given wattage doesn't kill a sub, distortion does. Two ways this can happen. A high power amp can run a woofer beyond it's intended excursion and distort it or a low powered amp can be pushed beyond it's limits allowing it's output power to greatly increase in distortion. Both ways will destroy a sub. Otherwise you can run whatever amount of power you want to a sub but you must listen to the output of the sub and not drive it or your amps beyond their intended limits. This is the same with any type or size of speaker.
  16. I wasn't pointing any fingers.
  17. It should also include women as well.
  18. So did you end up using a speaker wire line converter? They sound ok but you won't believe the difference a direct connect to a good head unit will make. If you just plan on adding subs to the system then I'd stick with that. If you plan on adding some aftermarket mids/highs and amp for them, then definitly go with an aftermarket head unit. A good 2 way component set like focal or mb-quart q's with a nice amp will sound better than any number of factory or aftermarket speakers hooked to the stock stereo. To run your high end, fosgate makes some really decent sounding amps at affordable prices. For no compromised sound check out mcintosh's line of amps, for future reference.
  19. I still love some old Too-$hort (short dogs in the house) and Sir-mix-a-lot (swass). Prolly before most of your time, but definitly some of the best "clasic" rap.
  20. I would go with the Kehin PWK carbs though the mikuni's will work. The keihin's are a little more advanced in their design. Like others have said, I wouldn't go less than some 30mm. The Keihin PWK's have a "D" slide v/s a flat or round that will reduce the turbulence of air flow through the carb and provide you with the best possible throttle response v/s the other two. I would choose the flatslide over the round though if it was between those two.
  21. PM Ron, (BdBanshee). His frame use to be white with white fenders. Looked real sweet.
  22. I dunno, that story is a little hard to swalllow.
