  1. The Devil has ways of messing up good things.
  2. I would add cash prizes if you want to attract more people. It has worked for us in the past for car show events. Also nice trophies are a plus as well. Just really depends on your entree fee's and how you can disperse your money. People will remember this and you will have more entree's the next time you do it.
  3. I thought it was a 3 digit code like 1 2 3.
  4. Yes, most all oils that are 10w30 and lighter will have the moly additives. The Mobil 1 4T 10w40 and the racing 15w-50 does not.
  5. Honestlly, if a builder told me that kind of crap, I'd be finding another one real quick. A banshee's motor needs to cool better, especially with porting, pipes, cub and other mods we do. That's why the aftermarket has cool heads, better impellers, larger radiators, Nikasil plated cylinders, and special coolants to combat heat. Anyone tells you that dissipating heat quicker is a bad thing, you tell them to go jump off a cliff. That has to be one of the lamest reasons for not to use a nakisil plated cylinder I've ever heard, really it's the only one. Cubs make outstanding dune motors. I've had every level of modification inbetween from stock cylinder to a 4mil cub and the cub is the best dune motor I've ever ridden bar none!! You tell your builder to find a tree with better shade cause the sun has fried his brain.
  6. I've used Mobil1 15-50 synthetic which doesn't have any of the known friction modifiers (moly)that cause wet clutch systems to slip. I've used it in my CBR with 23k miles on it, never a problem and still on the stock clutch. I've used it in my banshee for the last 7 yrs and now with a cub and still never a slip. I use the Mx2t for the pre-mix, excellent stuff.
  7. I assume cause it was a "bad" hill. Better rolling part way down than all the way. lol
  8. Stan, sorry to hear about this messy situation. If worst came to worst, you could always travel from BHQ members house to BHQ members house. You could live rent free for a long time. Anyway keep your chin up and hang in there. You need moral suport, you know where to come.
  9. Whats better, a true satanist or a false christian?
  10. Yep that was exactly my thought.
  11. Ok I'm still in the dark here, no pun intended. A "true" satanists foundation is based upon what? How do we recognize true from false satanic preachings or scripture? Which satanic church is the "true" one and how do we find that out? If I wanted to be a member I wouldn't want to be decieved and join the wrong one ya know.
  12. Here you go Travis, this is a buddy of mine and he's been in business along time. He's probably one of the cheapest around and only uses the most qualified and best insured truckers in the business. His name is Kevin, tell him Brad sent you. LINK
  13. What classifies someone as a "real" satanist?
  14. If I remember right, Tyler tried plugging the boyesen (boost) ports which didn't help with tuning his.
  15. Happy Birthday John and many more.....
  16. Well I'm sure a lot of business owners realize that you can't please everyone. Some people can't be pleased no matter what you do for them. As for product packaging, you could take a padded steel container and UPS or FED-EX could turn it into a smashed soda can in no time. It's just part of the hit and miss with shipping items.
  17. Sealed boxes offer better sq attributes like cone control, less overhang, better midbass transition and lower bass extension. There are exceptions to every rule, but as a whole, sealed boxes provide these attributes better which are required for an increase in your subwoofers sound quality.
  18. Some people are just destined to live in a cage!!
  19. That's like putting lipstick on a pig.
  20. Yea Mcintosh is still around. They have priced themselves in the exclusive range just as they did with their home audio gear. I will never own another amp as long as I can continue to afford them or something better comes along.
  21. If you want no compromise SQ, don't pass up listening to Focal utops, Seas and Accuton drivers. For subs, I would give my left nut to find a pair of the velodyne servo 12's. Best sq sub ever made for a car. I also loved the old infinity beta subs, man they were killer. They just don't make them like they use to. All the focus has gone to spl. Amps, of course Mcintosh takes the cake with the higher end Audison a close second. Otherwise the best the car audio industry has to offer for sq has come and gone.
  22. Russ died? That's pretty sad, wonder what happened cause he was not that old.
  23. Like Travis said, when you build a box it is sooo important to partition between the subs. Two subs of the same model are never created nor perform equally. When you use the same air space for both they will work against each other to a small degree which is definitely audible. I see people time after time build a half ass box and then blame the sub for poor performance. 9 times out of 10 it is the box. If anyone builds a box, it should be braced front to back in at least 2 places per sub. I also use 3m rubberized undercoating and spray an 1/8 to 1/4 inch layer over the entire interior surface of the box. You should be able to push in on the cone of your sub for 5 seconds, in a sealed enclosure, and it should immediatly rebound back. If it moves slowly back to the front, you do not have a complete seal. This makes a huge difference. This is not always easy to achieve but if you want the best performance your sub is capable of, then give it the best box to do so.
  24. Happy Birthday!!!!
  25. Jeff, you running a sealed box? I myself have ran kicker for 18 yrs. I currently run the Xpl's though they are discontinued. The compVR's are an impressive sub as well. One thing I have to mention though is I bought a fosgate combo packagefor my daily driver here a while back, couldn't pass it up. Got a punch 2 x 50 watt amp and a 12'' (P112S4) sub for 99 dollars. Anyway the sub can be purchased for like 60 to 70 dollars. I have been totally impressed with this sub, it impresses me everday and I can't believe it's just a cheap ole sub. So I have to say, the Chinese aren't doing too bad on the RF subs. I'd buy another in a heartbeat.
