Well I got it today and all I can say is power wheelies and lots of go fast juice

Now Im not starting shit or anything but my bike has all the same motor mods you have but some different brand shit and lots of brand new shit like tires(maxxis)platics,works shocks,the whole thing was gone through for about 4000 and I was only asking $3000 cos thats about how much an r with that shit runs. I know what you guys are probley thinking,that I need to stop trying to trade stuff for other things but I have a banshee now and want some parts. The 500 is apart besides frame and front end. I recently repainted the frame black and put all the electrical back on it. The motor has new rings,new boysen reeds,new kickstart shaft but it needs a clucth cover gasket. I have the stock pipe for it and a pro circuit pipe too. Everything is there to finish bike except:Silencer,handlebars,ans kickstart. Parts Im lookin for to trade are: -00-02 full set of blue platics (not race cut) -Aftermarket head -stock headlights Tell me what you got if you want to trade parts for this project. Thanks Dan

J arms are in a shape of a j obviously that went where the top a arms goes. Yamaha thought they had something with it from 87-90 but just switched to a arms after that.

One way you can tell if its a 87-90 is if it has j arms on the top instead of a arms. Also I dont think it matters what year because besides the j arm to a arm thats the only change yamaha ever made to it.

My cousin had a 87 banshee too all the parts in boxes except for a arms and swingarm all the parts were there and he sold it for $500.
