I don't know where you're from but out here in cali we say a Flowmaster one chamber, two chamber, or three chamber. I would imagine that the 40 series is a two chamber, in which case I will say go for it. I had one on my 97 5.7 liter chevy truck, but recently changed to a magnaflow. I really like the sound out of both of them. The magnaflow is more mellow and "refined" something you would find on somebody older's car. The flowmaster is very "raspy" but drones on the freeway at like 2800 rpms. You should definetely look into headers for the vehicle, I have a set of Doug Thorleys and it made quite a noticable diference in power. That was what I thought at first, and then I was told that powder coating is baked on at only 400 degrees, like what you cook your turkey dinner at. I don't think it would have any affect on the spring rate.

I've dealt with modquad before, but not on a head. They were real quick in shipping and it was packaged really nice. I would have no problem ordering from them again.

Yeah the Home Depot will have the lights you need. Make sure you get the "cool white" or "daylight" type. It is a more white light than the typical yellowish house lights. I would bring the old one with you when you go. You want to make sure they are a sealed bulb too. Good Luck!
