  1. bump I'm lowering the price with everything to 125 including shipping. If anyone is interested, I have pictures available via email also.
  2. Yeah i realize that, I mean its the stock sprocket size for and 89 shee. Also, I dont reccomend pod filters for any situation where there is water unless you are careful. A nice custom system to set it higher up for better protection or the stock airbox with the prodesign kit and no lid is preferable.
  3. I do alot of hillclimbing and trail riding and my setup is spectacular for all-around and is very fast too. The key to my motor is a wiseco hotrods longrods crank. This transformed my motor into a little less of a revver, but it still gets the revs up and is easy to lug it and short shift it. I also have a set of t5's, 28mm PWK's w/ pods, A Cool-Head with 18cc domes, delta v-force II reeds. On the ignition side, I the timing advanced +4. This setup allows me to run a 15 tooth front sprocket with a stock size 89 rear sprocket. I have trail rode it and the 15 can be a little fast for tighter trails and I find myself clutching alot, but switching to a 14 front would make that easier. I have also raced a bunch of raptors, 450rs and the like and they cant hang. I like the motor for its rideability and all around power. It has great low and mid power and softens the hit but still pulls like a muther on top. If you want any more info let me know.
  4. I've had my 5.6 tank for about 3 years now and I wouldnt go back to the stock tank. Even though it seems to be a little big, I got used to that tank quickly, it doesnt intefer with my riding and now I have a bunch more gas.
  5. After having to deal with my swingarm bearing exploding, I installed a grease fitting, but modified the spacer rod that it would grease the bearing too. My dad machined the rod and drilled holes so the grease would get to the bearings. Its been a long time, about three and a half years and my bearings are as tight as new and everything disassembles easily.
  6. Id love to but im three hours away with no way to get back to hazleton and fire up the shee. Also race gas has gotten expensive too.
  7. Most likely when this engine wears out I'm just gunna step up to a new set of sleeves and start running blaster pistons and new domes cut for them. I dont have the money right now to change the crank and get a set of powervalve cylinders.
  8. They are some sick hills there in shamokin. I hate trying to climb the hills aorund Hazleton like that anymore because I dont have a good group of guys to ride with and therefore no help if I get stuck or crash. I'll def have to look into shamokin because I need a challenge like that.
  9. Anyone here ride Hazleton that much. I live there so Im looking for some people to ride once I get back from school in DC. I like climbing all the hills around and know most of them. Let me know.
  10. Well, Im already at the +4 or +5 with the longrod crank from wiseco. The thing is that im at the end of the sizing for the matching pistons and when I need to bore it out, I'm going to have to resleeve and instead of going back to stock I would like to get more displacement. The option of Vito's 404 kit doesnt work for me because I dont want to run a spacer plate with the longrod crank. I mean this thing still has to stay trail rideable so basically more power, but spread out over the band.
  11. SO I built a 370 longrod engine to rip around the trails and siltbanks here in NEPA and now Im looking to up the displacement. Besides the usual Vito's junk 404 kit, does anyone know any other options than that and the Trinity 420 kit. Thanks, I'm new here so anything is a big help.
  12. To replace your crank seals, you have to split the cases and do all the associated removal procedures of the clutch and everything. Its a good weekend for someone who never did it before. You also need to make sure you have the right tools to do everything plus the right liquid gasket to reseal the cases and the seals on hand. Once you get it done its not bad the next time.
  13. Hey, Im new to this, but I live in NEPA where the coals banks are the thing to ride. I have no problem with what i put together. Its reliable and puts out awesome power to climb everything. .80 over Wiseco Longrod pistons --- only .80 because thats where they needed to be bored to Wiseco Hotrods long rod crank --- welded and trued Delta V-Force 2's Keihin 28 pwks adjustable timing plate with 4 degree advance t5's Hinson clutch parts Its run amazing and I have yet to find a hill i can't climb.
