  1. It has a sputter right before it gets on the pipe. It only does this when it is hot. I was thinkin it could be overheating but, it is not blowing any coolant out.
  2. I have been through hell and high water jetting this bike. It will run real goog until it gets warm then it runs like shit. Does anyone know what would make it run worse when it gets up to temp.
  3. I am assuming there stock 5N7 The best I remember these are the stock numbers

  6. I do not really think it is electrical because it only acts up after it gets up to operating temperature. When I first start to ride it runs perfect.
  7. I have a tors removal, slides are right and the tube is in place. The tors wires look to have just been cut off
  8. I have new plugs, fresh gas, and the choke is off. I was wondering how to tell if it might be time for reeds ? I want to also add that it runs great until it gets up to temperature. Thats when it starts to sputter before it gets on the pipe

  10. OK,,,,,, I got the 27.5 in there, needle on second clip from blunt end, and 280 mains. Its runnin pretty good but, I still have somewhat of a cough and sputter right before it gets on the pipe. Any Ideas?
  11. I do not have the snorkle but, do have the lid. The lid has 5 1inch holes in it. I will try goin back up on the pilot and lean the needle again.
  12. I have tried every main I could think of. It bogs on the top end with a 320 so I worked my way down and ended up with the 290. I tries the stock needle position and the5th clip. I also tried a 27.5, 25 and the 20 pilot which was in the shee when I got it. I wonder if it would help to try to go back up on the pilot and lean the needle somemore. It has a bad sputter with any other pilot than the 20 right before it gets on the pipe.
  13. I have been fighting with jetting this thing for the last couple of days. It has fatties with pc2 silencers and airbox lid on w/o snorkle. It will only run right with a 20 pilot, needle on 4th clip and 290 main. I can get it to run good with a 25 or 27.5 pilot until the motor gets up to temperature then it just sputters on the low end and some into the mid range unless I have the 20 pilot in. Can someone please help me to get this thing running.
  14. I thought I would tell you. It runs good even with a 27.5 pilot until the engine gets up to temperature. I am completely confused with this thing!! HELP
  15. Should I try to lean the needle about 2 clips then go bigger with the pilot or what? This damn thing is pissing me off
  16. Well I am getting confused. The only way I coulg get it to run right was with a 20 pilot, 1.25 turns on the air screws and a 290 main with the needle in the 4th clip from the blunt end. Does that 20 pilot sound right to anyone.

  18. All this damn boost bottle did for me was get in the way. I would rather just have the small tube

  20. I need so baseline jetting help. I have a 98 shee with the stock airbox w/o snorkel, fatty pipes with pc2 silencers, .20 bore. I am running bel-ray h1r at 40:1. Can someone please give me a guess as to the jetting I should try first. Thanks Daniel
