No. Yfz brakes are leaps and bounds better then stock. If your brakes lock up, there useless. You want to slow down in control. Banshee brakes are either off or locked. There's very little feather room. I rode a yfz and almost flipped mashing the fronts. They never locked. Just slowed down extremely fast My rears suck too.

Calipers are junk. You need a bore gauge and micrometer. There's 6 points to measure. No caliper will get you close to what a micrometer can.

If your chasing power, that's the most optimal way. Builders know there port work the best, or if it's an already set up port they'll have a better understanding of it if they check the timings and heights.
