is it to big to fit in ur pocket... i would think it would look Doofy up on the bars.. and how does it work... Do u set it from the spot u are leaving from... then switch it back when u r returning?
  3. i run 32:1 belray h1r also... a friend of mine runs 20:1... and yes that definitly sounds way rich...
  4. alittle more than 80 bux... but... http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=33179
  5. outofcontrol is right... i used to go to the paint store and have them mix me up gunmetal and bronze paint to paint rims on some of my cars... i used to spray the paint through a Pre-Val sprayer...(approx $6 bux) and it sprays real even
  6. thats a pretty decent price... a friend of mine has one for sale... it runs good... but def has more than an hour on it and he wants 400... good luck with the sell
  7. New thread with pics thanks http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=33179
  8. i have thought about it... but it looks so goofy on that big ass quad... forgot its name... bombardier?
  9. my t6's are nuts i bolted them as explained by toomey, using there jets and the bike rips, i rode a banshee a few weeks ago that felt similiar it had t5's, but alot of other work too...
  10. i baically cut off the front of the frame and moved it 4" forward... than i built the upper frame(where the gas tank use to sit at) up and over the motor... and the bottom half is basically done, but will be removable for easy access to the engine... ill post pics up as soon as i can find my digi cam... now how bout those sprockets...?
  11. ha... lol well at first glance you would think it will fit... but i stretched the frame 4"... At the top of the frame on what the gas tank sits on had to be redesigned to go over the engine, becuase there are two mounts at the top of the cylinder head... i am making the bottom part of the frame removable, so i can remove the engine if i have to work on it. moving the front end further forward 4" may have been alittle more than i needed to do... but i figured with the added weight it will help center it out... plus leave e soem room for some nasty exhaust... Ill post up some pics of the progress so you guys can tell me what you think.
  12. well that cr500 is def hot... but im sorry i dont have anything that crazy... im jsut using a 01 Kawasaki zx-7r engine
  13. I have just put a bike motor in this rolling banshee frame that i have(pics to come real soon). Well i have it all lined up... and the Banshee stock chain doesnt seat all the way on the front sprocket(bike motor) is there a chain i can run that will be better, instead of a stock 520 chain? or will a certain Dirtbiek sprocket maybe work..? Thanks alot bobby (edit: ZX-7r engine)
  14. i just put this lever on today... after searching around i seen that i have to get the block off plate for my rear caliper... For the time being i just removed the cable, but once i started it, all it did was bog??? so i searched around... and supposedly... when you disconnect the parking brake, you will need to cut and splice soem wire, i guess if you get the block off plate it will tell you this or eliminate it?? im glad BHG.com is here... i thought soemthing was f**ked up with the carbs and would of spent hard eared cash at the stealership.... any link to how to rewire it?
  15. i paid 1000 for a 98 roller...
  16. ehh... f*ck that... id be more impressed if it was a Mercedes Benz CLK conversion
  17. I only changed the main... and the Needle... both are from Toomeys Perfect jet kit... I might be jsut gettig picky with this jettign though... i definitly cant see it picking up any more power up top... it is jsut crazy...
  18. if these things are this bad.... i might have to be saying good bye to my banshee... i love the bike... but it seems that the new bikes jsut have all the creature comforts... like my major drawback on teh shee is the steering... i rode a TRX450R and a Z400 Suzuki.. and the steering si very light... PS if theres gonna be a bike to beat the Shee... at least it is a yamaha... I think if Yamaha updated the banshee with more displacement, like all teh new bikes, an aluminum chassis, Good shocks... it could be the new champion... Realy since the change in j-arm to a-arm.. there hasnt been significant changes... I really liek the 2 stroke powerband though... Reminds me of Turbo lag... because when it hits.. ohh it hits...
  19. you know.. i kinda think i have grown up.. normally i would of jumped on it and rompted away... but now taht i am alittle older in a situation liek that i probally would've stopped... i guess this story si gonna change my judgement...

  21. Mine was perfect till this weekend, the cable is totally stretched out though... i used to be able to get neutral... but now im gonna replace the cable this weekend...
  22. I have a 99 Banshee all stock except for T6 pipe kit, and 2:1 air filter... no air box... 280 main... it also came with a 270 main...and the needle jet supplied by Toomey... my air mixture screw is out 2 turns... im mixing at 36:1 fuel... when i start it, it is alittle smokey, but goes away after a while... after some beating around my yard with it... i took the plugs out and they were alittle damp. i noticed when the bike is warm... i have to give it alittle gas to start it, which i hadnt before... Top end wise it screams, it wants to just keep on pulling in every gear... Down low... it bogged alittle, i was running paddles, maybe i am jsut used to the limited traction of the stock tires...? Ill probally pull the plugs tonight and take alook at them... any suggestions...
  23. my t6's were aworkout.. but well worth it... the springs i used apair of vice grips it worked fine.. get soem muscle behind it boy...
  24. ill have to try that... also... i took it out today, in the sand... this thing rocks... it is fukin fast as hell... i toped it out... and it was scary... i just put aset of new ITP sandstar's on adn it felt great... my friend has a duncan 410cc kit, carbs, pipes... he said mine feels faster... i think he needs to tune his probally to get the most out of it... but it def rocks
  25. hmmm a friend fo mine has hub spacers... or r u tring to move the stock axle back... to make alonger wheelbase?
