  1. I just bought a set of douglas front wheels for the banshee and noticed that the offset was different than my buddies douglas wheels. His wheels make the banshee wider(less backspacing) and my wheels keep the origional width. Any answers? I know you can turn the wheels around and use short valves or just move the valve to the other side but he bought his wheels the same time I did and I would figure that we would get the same wheels.
  2. Sounds like a good idea
  3. Hey cotton eye joe, what kind of work do you do? I think we do the same type jobs, I do some cnc work and teach a small machine shop course in the middle east. I agree the tooling and fixturing on that part would cost a fortune.
  4. I can't believe no one mentioned a small block swap. You could probable do a 350 swap from a similar year P/U for about 1000 bucks. If it's a 2 wheel drive. If not just ignor what I said
  5. I'm suprised that no one has commented on the banshee to haunda trade
  6. I use Cofran full synthetic and mix 35:1. Works good so far
  7. I'm not sure how the sensor works on that spedo but have you takin into account tire growth at high speed. I know my buddies stock tires(non radial) grow like 2 inches in height when at high speeds.
  8. I also thought of this idea, using a fan would greatly decrease the coolent temp while at low speeds. The stearing stem makes this a difficult task to complete. But then again if you don't mind loosing your grill the fan could probably be mounted on the font of the rad. I also considered using a automobile heater core for aditional cooling in warm weather.
  9. I bought gbc dune tracker fronts (22x8x10) for $126.99 with douglas .190" Wheels and Skat-Trak edge rears (20x10x10) 8 paddles for $241.99 same wheels. Got it all at Rocky Mountain Atv.
  10. What would be the best choice of filter. The Swiss Cheese filter box inserts or the toomey two into one kit with the pipes and jets?
  11. Has anyone had any luck with scat-trak edge v paddles? I think I made a good choice buying them they look like they will hook.
  12. Hey guys, I just bought a new set of Skat-Trak Edge V-paddles (20x10x10) 8 paddles. Sould Haul some ass I think. Thanks for the help
  13. Hey guys, I just puchased a banshee in the middle east (only for sand). I was wondering what would be the best pipe for the shee? It will only have air filter and some small mods down the road. I had my mind set on the T6 pipes but I thought I would check before buying.
  14. Just wondering if anyone had any comments on GBC Sand-Shark rears on a banshee. They look to be a fairly cheap tire.
  15. For a set of sand skate 2's and douglas red label wheels they want about 1800 Riyals which is 650 canadian dollars or about 495 U.S. The shipping is the most expensive part, if I get them before I go I can avoid all shipping costs and bring them as luggage on the plane.
  16. Back to the main reason I made the post. I am looking for a Sand tire dealer in Canada, I have to get the tires and bring them back to the middle east in about one month for some good dune riding or when it cool down below 120 degrees. So if anyone knows about a dealer in Canada let me know.
  17. Haha, that is a good question. I think some of the small fishing comunities around the coast of Newfoundland would remind you of a trailer park, with all the shit cars, pickup trucks and low income housing. I can imagine the jokes are similar to the one's a person from Washington would make about those Southern State hicks. Regardless I'm suprised that you even know where Newfoundland is, most Americans don't.
  18. Thanks for the link, From what I could tell they don't have any list of tires on the site but then again my french is not the best these days.
  19. I live in Newfoundland, but I think shipping within Canada would be cheaper than U.S to Canada
  20. Do any of you Canadian members know where I can buy some sand tires and wheels for my banshee in the country? I have been pricing tire wheel combos at rockey mountain atv and the prices seem rasonable. I just want to know if I can find a Canadian dealer to avoid the whole duty thing while bringing them into Canada.
