i had the same trouble and i just got mine back from the shop today and it was the little black box for the tors. they unhooked it and it runs now. i went thru everything and the yfixed it by unhooking that

it has fmf pipes and jetting. it sat for 2 years cause he had one cylinder go dead and then i got it and had it bored and that is as far as i got

im back with banshee troubles. ok i tried my cdi and coil on another banshee it ran fine i put them back on mine and it sparks about 1 time between 8 to 10 kicks. i need to know if anyone has any ideas. and also what safty swithes can i unhook, and witch ones cant i unhook. i was told to unhook the tors but i also heard u had to hook up the 2 yellow wires to each other. can anyone help me on any of this?

i tested the stator and coil the red and green ohm 17.4 white green and white red ohm 112.8 my coil ohm at .9 the book says .25 to .38 i belive. so u think it might be my coil?

i tested white with green lead and the white with red lead. and they tested right the coil i tested it and the reading was .9 the book call for .25 to.38 i think. so i am guessing my coil is bad.

ya i unhooked the black box unhooked the wires from carb unhooked the parking brake wire is that all and do i need to connect any wires together

i have 130 psi

the carbs are right i marked them when i took them off. the not reving isnt whats bothering me its the no spark problem. the tube is in there

it just got bored yesterday. it had 50 psi before that

it will start up and idle but will not pull itself u have to hold the throtttle in some to keep it running and if u open it up all the way it wont rev anymore its revs to a high idle thats it

the 450 will take it from the get go and the end. i know i have both and i have raced both. i have fmf pipes but my 450 will smoke the shee even if u go with a rolling start. both are the best quads on the market as far as i am concerened

if its like the lt 500 where u can install reeds out of a kx250 then it really does work but i havnt tried the blaster ones

i have a 97 banshee i just bought. i had it bored. it wont start. if u pull start it it will start but wont rev up when u shut it off it it will fire once and that is it it wont fire again any ideas. i tried another coil and it wouldnt fire either any help would be appreciated
