  1. I had a set of trinity stage IV's and then I went to a set of fmf sst and they out performed the stage IV's by far. I am pretty sure that the shearer, rockets, and cpi's are a ton better. My friends and I go back and forth so see what pipes perform better and the trinity's definetly aren't up to par. Just my .02 cents

  10. I have a nitrous express setup for a banshee. it is good for 20-75 h.p. I bought it used and never had time to hook it up myself. It has the bottle, selenoids, battery, and wiring. the carbs ar 34mm pj's and already have the nozzles in the. The fuel pump is also included. i have the dual petcock one side for the carbs and the other for the fuel for the nitrous. I have brand new bulls eyes intakes still in package, I have a motion pro throttle cable still in the package, i also have new k&ns in the boxes and outerwares still in the wrappers. I am looking to sell the whole setup. If you added everything up you would be over 1100.00 dollars new. I am looking for $800 insurance will be included as long as you are in the U.S. If you want to pick the stuff up I would like to get $750 out of it. If you have questions or offers please e mail me at [email protected]

  14. I have a 1989 banshee and when a had a stock stroke crankshaft with trinity stage four pipes, cool head with 171 lbs of compression, v force reeds, reeds spacers, 4 degree advance key, porting but port timing is not raised, toomey two into one air filter, quad always ran extremely well. I just put a vitos 4mm stroker crank with spacer in and went to 280 mains and left the 25 pilot in. It was way too rich and after a couple times of jetting I ended up back with 260 so it wouldn't foul out plugs. My problem is that if I am barely moving then punch the throttle it hesitate then picks up or I will have to feather the clutch, I played with the air screws and it helped the best at 1.5 turns out. also when I get on it hard it runs good at the begining of the gears but even before I am ready to shift it quits accelerating before it is fully revved out. I am pretty sure my problem is in my carbs but I need to know where to go with it. Also my needles are in the middle position also I switched domes so the compression is the same. Let me know if you have any ideas or solutions.

  17. I AM THINKING OF SWITCHING OVER TO ALCOHOL BUT NO ONE RUNS IT BY ME. I AM CURIOUS ON WHAT DIFFERENT GASKETS I WOULD NEED IF ANY, AND ALSO DO YOU HAVE TO DRAIN THE CASES OFTEN OR ANY OTHER PERCAUTIONS. ALSO WONDERING ABOUT WHAT TYPE OF OIL TO RUN.
  18. these carbs have an easy fix so I hope you guys read this. take the tube at the bottom of the bowl and instead of dumping it down, redirect it over the the top of the carb then back down, I have a set now but I first ran into this problem hill climbing snowmobiles. I tried it and it worked great.
  19. We race mud trucks and we take foam tire cleaners and spray down most everything and it seems to work really well. I would imagine that it would work equally well on a quad.
  20. Works great, you will have about Six inches in front and back by putting 2 quads on strait and the one in back sideways.
  21. Awsome decals, definitely a keeper. Do they come free with engine work because I can't wait.
  22. We have a sled dyno at my buddies shop and we tested the twos and the threes on the same sled with pipes and the twos did actually make a little more power and allowed the revs to come up quicker. I think that the threes are a sales ploy but I definitely love my twos. the throttle response is awsome and I have never had a problem they have been in my motor ever since it was new.
