  1. They are killer all around pipes. The expansion chamber is in front of the engine and only the small portion of the pipe goes by the carbs. It makes it very easy to work on the carbs and you can't burn your legs on them. Had them on a ported 350 with 35PWK's. Great power all over but to small for the new 500cc T-Rex.
  2. How do GRR pipes compare to the super fat FTZ pipes. I hear that FTZ's are thin and brake the mounts if used for lots of riding. I've also heard that FTZ's make more power than the CPI's.
  3. Who makes Thunder Pipes? Do they make a big bore set?
  4. Hey T-Rex is the way to go. Order the cylinders and pistons set up for your crank, stock, +4, +7, +10 or +12mm no spacers under them as they make them set up for your engine. I have a 72mm bore, +7mm stroke. For more info check out http://www.teamracersedge.com/ These are the people who cast and produce the T-Rex and they know thier shit. Jim
  5. Hey guys what is the hot set up for big engine in frame drag pipes? I have a 496cc T-Rex with 35mm PWKs, stock 89 frame using late model a-arm conversion and a Clark 5.5 gal gas tank. From what I gather most of the people on the West Coast run CPIs. What else is out there and is there any thing better or worse?
