  1. Dude, I'll never look at Dew the same again.
  2. Yeah, I think she's cool too. I may get her to pose on it this summer sometime. Now that's some experienced info on the reeds! In reading the manual for the bashee I got online, it said that 240 mains were extra and were in the tool box. So it looks like I'm needing the kit before it's right or adding/modding anything else. I'll make the adjustments to the airscrew
  3. Sweet. That first page you listed has a pic of what mine looks like. White super stock. Thanks a bunch. I think I'll be getting a jet kit soon from mikuni, then let the games begin...
  4. It's definately gas. I'll be sealing it up and see how it changes the game. What do aftermarket reeds look like? Anyone got a pic?
  5. thx for the info. I've heard it's better to stay a little on the rich side to help keep it cool. I also discovered while taking the reed cage off that the lower half of the gasket material was wet. What affect could that have had on the performance? thx
  6. Need some help guys... Wife bought me a used banshee last year for a 10 year anniversary gift. It's been modified already to some degree and may have jetting prob. First I live in western Illinois at about 750 feet above sea level. Mods that I know about: FMF gold series fatty pipes and FMF silencer, boost bottle. jetting (240 main, 25 pilot, needle in center clip) Mods unsure about: Porting, head milling, reed type (looks like white fiber with 4 petals per carb), jetting (240 main, 25 pilot) Can I get some help identifying the reeds and then a starting point for dialing in the jetting? Is there any way of identifying the needles? thanks guys
  7. I agree, performance first. I just got my maxxis razr's mounted last night and hope they put me out front. The up and down weather is making it hard to dial in though. Next winter I'll have a heated shop to tear down my 'shee. Till then, ugly's gonna smoke'm. How does everyone feel about the raptor look for the 'shee? Maier Plastic or
  8. Sorry, should have posted the main page link and let you find the tracks. I've ridden only a couple of these since my wife bought me my 'shee last year. If you check the race schedules, there are usually a "4" under the type of race indicating a quad class. If I had my new tires mounted and a new shock I'd be going to Keithburg this weekend. I raced once there when I rode MX in the early 90's. It's a sand pit! amadistrict17.com
  9. Here's some places to ride... District 17 Western Illinois here.
