that would be because of the blown rear shock. i was thinking about that also but i'll re-dyno it next spring and tune it a little better.

i will be able to tell you after this weekend i think i'm going to the Badlands. till then i really cant tell you. i really dont have any places to ride near my house i want to go to the Joilet mx track this week to dial in the new elkas. but i will post my findings

u bring up a very good point. but the dyno they have isnt set up for 2 strokes so they cant read the air fuel mix but 4 stroked they can. its mostly guess and check but its to damn cold now to do any real tuning maybe next year i just want to ride while i can but in my opinion i think its to rich. but better that then the other

but my dyno graph looks better :biggrin: so haha J/K i have to get mine slightly ported and the head milled to get that drop out but i am still very happy with it.

I got them installed took about 5 mins, the hardest part was routing the SS remote rezzie line around the brake line. It sits so low now, I rode it in field today that has two ok jumps it was very nice I still have to mess around with the compression and rebound to get it set up correctly. Thus far i am very happy with them. Once I hit the trails and set them up i will be able to give a better review.

I just got the Elkas in they are the most beautiful shocks i have ever seen. i wanted them here before the 23 and they arrived today and now i have to get the banshee back from the Dyno shop and i'm all set to go.

My Holeshots are installed i dont have any other tires to run with i really dont care about numbers as long as its tuned correctly. In my opinion wouldnt you want to tune something AS IS i'm not going to be on the trails with slicks just a thought. Althought i have been wrong before so who knows BTW i am little new to the whole dyno thing what is blowing off the drum?????

So with everything i have done 45hp sounds about right. I remember looking at the curve and it had a huge dip at the end they said that they might be able to smooth it out but i totally understand there is know way i'm going to get 60hp or 50 for that matter. but i should feel one hell of a difference with it dialed in i hope

As we speak my Banshee is sitting on a Dyno Jet 118ATV they did 5 test runs so far. They killed on the gains. "in my eyes

i just ordered my first set of aftermarket shocks for the banshee i blew up the stock rear and figured y not get the entire set the only problem was the price $2000 i ordered them from Elka. i'm running all stock a arms and rear swing arm i haven't even ridden a quad with aftermarket shocks before only read stories about Elkas and how they are the best. I got the sport/racing series with piggy back fronts, and remote rezie rear dual rate all the way around they are to be delivered by the 23rd. does anyone have any tips when i do the switch over ? thanks
