  1. I'm making reservations NOW at the Dunes Waterfront Resort cya there 2002 Yellow Ranger with a Yellow Badlands sticker on the back window 2 quads 1999 banshee Blue 2004 YZF 450 White/red
  2. 39.24????? someone put yes for everything and see if you get 100% or 0% that might help
  3. kick ass pics!!! i plan on going there next weekend. i better not blow up my banshee
  4. GOT IT FINALLY THANKS
  5. I unpluged the TORS from the stock carbs and installed the new carbs and left the plugs hanging. but the switch from the TORS is still in the throttle and it wont start unless the throttle is engaged enough where it is not making contact with the switch. once i get it running and then i let the throttle go it will kill. So what do i do now???? am i missing somthing ? Also the 28 PWK's DO NOT HAVE TORS instaled on them
  6. i have the 28 PWK's and i want to get rid of the TORS where is the box to unplug it and is that all i have to do ????
  7. I talked to my dealer and he was saying something like my jetting is really close, but the air filter may be clogged, causing it to run too rich or "change overnight." The plugs are black but a little oily like they are supposed to be. At the end of each pipe have a slight oil residue around the end of the pipe which is again ok. I just got my 140
  8. Ok here is the deal I bought a pair of brand new 28mm PWK's off of eBay. They came with 150's and some needle I have no idea what size it is. They said t was set up for a Banshee. The fuel/air mix 1 1/2 turns out. It ran great for an entire day until I was on my way back on the trails and it started to bubble bad at WOT. I thought noting of it. That was two weeks ago i went riding again this weekend and it starts fine but I didn
  9. i rebuilt my carbs three times in the last two weeks and they are perfect but shee still wont start unless i spray a little carb cleaner in the carbs and it will start and run forever but if i turn it off and let it sit for like 10 min she wont start back up unless i spray carb cleaner in it WTF is that all about i am so lost. i took out the cages and but them back in is there a right and wrong way to put them in? i but the two marks pointing down. It has fuel "i think", spark, and air i can only guess that it is not getting any gas when i kick it but if so then what do i do?
  10. the carbs are getting fuel maybe not enough i'm going to drain the tank and do that it is just really pissing me off a lot and i never ever had this problem. Another thing it is kinda cold out now. i think that i'm going to turn on the heat in the garage and try and start it then that is what happened three years ago and it had to be rejeted but i am running 280 with the toomey's. is there any other ideas you guys can think of
  11. i ride everything trail MX dunes all i want is MORE POWER. but now a new problem i cant get my motor started. It will only start with carb cleaner sprayed into then it will run fine. but then it runs kinda ok but i am missing power. i think there is not enought compression to pull the gas into the motor or something is in the jets but i have cleaned them twice now and it is getting annoying. has anyone had this problem before?
  12. ok new plan Hot Rod 4mm stroker Noss head w/19cc domes Bored and ported polished racers choice 64.50 34mm carbs "maybe" if not now next year 34mm boots Est. cost $1660 W/O carbs Does that sound any better? The guy who is doing all of my work at Madmanracing says i should have about 90hp by the time i get done with pump gas!!!! Does that sound right? is anyone running that same set up and if so how do you like it. Yesterday i tore apart my carbs and rebuilt them and it ran fine!!!!! althought i dont know what the pistons look like Duh... but i still plan for the new rebuild and am looking forward to it...... just wondering what you all think....
  13. I figured on spending about a grand maybe 1500. Porting does sound like a good idea. What would the stroker crank do for me? also i really dont want to change the carbs but if it will help i'll do it. but i still want a very reliable motor to ride with and not having to worke on it everytime i take it out. so what to do.......
  14. now you tell me it's too late look at post "suckin sand at badlands" not good
  15. I was out in badlands and it was dusty as hell and my banshee was kickin ass all day sat and most of Sunday till it started loosing mid really bad and i was like WTF. So i stopped and looked. The boot after the carb was soaked the clamp had come loose. So i went to change the plugs and one was dry and the other wet. And both were covered with sand. I changed plugs and it was fine for about a min then the same and I started to loose top and it just sucked. So what to do? top end rebuild and what else new boots and if so what kind of clamps are you guys using? i want this never to happen again i want the tightest motor ever nothing crazy just reliable. But still have balls and just wondering what I should do now? Here is my plan Wiseco racers choice 64.50 Wiseco Hot rod crank Shaved head UPP boots And some sort of clamp Would porting be worth it? Because I am running TR6
  16. i'm running the stock gear well aftermarket sprockets but i am thinking of changing them. he is planning to purchase a Rossiair pipe so im fucked and i'm broke after buying the TR6's. but he is broke after buying the 450 so we will see who gets the "green" first will catch the checker flag. oh ya a other side note about the 450 there is about a 1/4 inch of padding on the seat so his ass hurt so much after the first time riding. i thought it was funny as hell so thats the first aftermarket part he is getting LOL
  17. Ok here is the deal all of you know that the Banshee is the best quad ever since 1987 it has had some compeditors in the past and all have been shut down. My father has a 2001 Raptor and I beat that easyhands down. My brother just friday bought a 2004 YFZ450 and I was like another one bites the dust. In preporation I bought a pair of TR6's to really shut the 450 down. Well the news isn't good at all even with the pipes we are DEAD EVEN!!!!!! There are some discrempicies though if i'm in 6th sitting right under the power band and then hit it i will walk away from him but from a dead stop were dead even. he will get a litle ahead then i'l get ahead when switching gears in the end we are head to head. i'm running my holeshots xc's 20inch if i throw on my holeshots xct's 22inch i'll walk away from him but i have to change something to beat him. So in the end a stock banshee will geat eaten up by a YFZ 450. Those of you who will argue with this statement. DONT I dont lie it is the truth there are no if's and's or but's about it. We were on a flat gravel road long enough go really test the machines. So thats it guys be prepaired to go up against one hopefully luck will be on your side. 1badshee350racer
