What are the advantages of the round housing if any? sorry wrong forum

Check under the fenders after your next ride. If you see they're really caked with mud, then they're working. I found that my fenders didn't really catch much mud anyway, but I knew once I cut them they'd be gone forever. So, I just cut them down a little at a time right now they're the same shape as the stock ones, but they're about half the size. I think it looks damn good, and it doesn't look like every body else on the block. If I decide I want them gone later, I can chop em, but, once they're gone, they're gone. sorry for the long read.

Anyone have any stock headlight lenses or know how I can MacGyver something up? I lost one on the trail. thanks

I just had my ACL done about 7 months ago. It still feels really week, and I've been rehabing three times a week for months. The surgery hurts way more than the initial injury, but don't worry. For the next two weeks you'll be on Percocet and Oxycontin around the clock. You won't be feelin much pain as long as you don't try to walk around. Just make sure you have a nice comfortable couch or bed thats real close to your computer and tv and shitter cause you'll be on your back for a while.

maybe try and set the big one to say 20 ft/lbs, and the small one to 240 in/lbs. If they're equal then there you go.

funny you ask that cause I just got one yesterday. I'm really not sure, but I was just assuming you multiply by 12. If anyone knows better please let us know before I go riding and blow my motor or something.

well I definitely wouldn't pay over a hundred bucks for one of those UM boxes, but if I can bend up my own box from a sheet of aluminum, AND, it will improve the sound of my shee, I might consider it. Fixitrod, did you notice a difference in sound with that new box? I now have no lid on my stock box and I can definitely hear the plastic vibrate when it sucks air.

There's a white one and a yellow one on ebay right now. A blue one just went earlier today.

So I recently went with a pro flow intake plate and removed the air box lid. Since then, the intake sounds kinda "throaty", kinda like the airbox plastic is vibrating. Anyway, I'v got some sheet aluminum and am thinking about bending up a custom box. Anyone know what the hell I'm talkin about? Better yet do I know what I'm talking about or am I wrong about the plastic box?

that's the one. I see a lot of black ones, but the blue is impossible to find. I ended up ordering one on ATVMALL.com. But they got back to me saying that the factory is just now starting to re-distribute them and they won't have mine till May. anyone got one?

Hello all. This is my first post and, first off, I'd like to thank all y'all for all the knowledge I've gained from this sight. I bought my first banshee last fall bone stock and after a couple thousand bucks and about a billion hours on the HQ, it's finally coming along. I always try to search old posts for what I need, but I can't find this one. I had my flywheel lightened by my machinist who does mostly bikes, and he said he took off the most he's ever taken off a flywheel. It just doesn't look to be as much as the pics I've seen posted. I don't have it to measure the OD, but he took off just about exactly the thickness of a nickel I think he said .120 . Is that enough to make a noticeable improvement? Cause if not I can have him take more off. Hey thanks again guys.
