  1. exactly what I was looking for, Turtle. Thanks a lot.
  2. I just ordered the 2" rise and I have a clarke tank. What bend of bars do you run and how much clearance do you have over the tank.
  3. Hey I'm not Sean Penfold, but I'm waiting on my amsoil, and I just got some crazy studded butt-plug looking thing from you. What's the deal Holyman? haahaa j.k.
  4. so, are the CR's wider than say the yz bend or the kx or the ktm? and what about the sweep? Or are they all about the same? Or should I just try some and stop asking so many f@$king anoying questiona?
  5. I've got a ROX riser coming next week, and I'll be looking for some new bars. I know that the CR bend is real popular, but can anyone tell me why? I haven't ridden every model bike so I don't know the characteristics of each. Any shared knowledge will be greatly appreciated as always. skinner
  6. not my auction. just thought y'all'd be interested. tank
  7. yeah, I checked out quicksand's website, but they only list stock width and +2. I ride a lot of trails, so I'm looking for +1's. Plus, I don't really want to pay retail, so I'd like some used one's. anyone?

    anybody? Give me a price.
  9. So I was installing my motion pro throttle kit last night, and I think I may have drilled and tapped the wrong side of the carb. when mounted, the idle screw will be on the inside of the bike. Anyone know what I mean?
  10. I just installed my pro-lites and while I was swapping them, I just happen to have a digital scale on my work bench, so I threw them on there. I was suprised to find out that they weigh exactly the same as my stock pistons. In fact, the only difference I noticed was that the OEM's had 4 rings as to the wiseco's 2 rings. So whats the big deal about the wiseco's? How do they increase performance?
  11. There's been lots of discussion on this topic. Check here. Then, run a search. yfz450 shocks
  12. F@#k that! Take 5 bucks and get yourself some plumbers epoxy. It's like playdough that dries harder than steel. I've used it on car motors and oil pans, and never had a problem. I think it's at least worth a try before dropping 500 bills on some new cases. just my $.02
  13. I never rode any $700 shocks, so I can't compare them, but they are a helluva lot better than the stock setup. they bolt right on after 3 minutes of grinding. You can pick some up on ebay for like $250. Worth every penny in my opinion. Try em out.
  14. All right boys! I'm looking to meet up with you soon. I've got a few buddies with shees and predators. cool if they come? By the way, where is this place again?
  15. Whatup Bansheerider? I'm in Ludlow. What sandpits and track are you talkin about? I'd definitely be down for that.
  16. I've got a couple of friends who race KX 250's and they swear by retarding the timing. They say it gives them the holeshot everytime. Anybody try it on a shee?
  17. I took all the clutch plates out and put a flat head screwdriver through one of the fingers on the basket and wedged it in one of the notches on the hub. I know I'll catch hell for telling you this, but I didn't have an impact handy and it took me a couple hours and a few failed attempts before resorting to the trusty screwstick. I was kicking myself in the ass for not trying it sooner. Be careful.
  18. Brother Zeppelin, I'm just wondering what octane you run. I'm just getting my bike back together after the winter. I took it from bone stock to what you see in my sig. and haven't run it yet. I hear people talkin bout how they're scared of detonation and all that. I'd rather push my luck than pay 10 bucks a gallon for fuel. Any input? p.s. John Bonham is my God!
  19. Thanks. So, you'd probably need a custom seat cover after that right?
  20. Is anyone out there representin' Western Mass? Get at me.
  21. Anyone done it? Got any tips?
  22. Thanks guys. Yeah, I got these pistons on ebay. The seller tried to get away with a light hone and new stock bore pistons, but ended up with low compression and having to rebore, so I got these pistons for 65 bucks shipped. One catch... no bearings. But yeah, I'll be sure to pick up some new ones before the install.
  23. whatup fellas? I just got a pair of wiseco pro-lites with rings and clips but no bearings. I notice that the top end kit they sell comes with wrist pin bearings. Do I need to go out and get some before I put the pistons in, or can I use my current bearings with the new setup. Also, if I need some, where's the cheapest place. help me out. thanks.
  24. I just got like ten feet of blue at PepBoys for I think $4. They have a couple of different sizes and they come in red or black also. They even have matching zip ties and tape to seal it up.
