  2. Well, we will arriving between 9-10 pm and are staying at Silver sands hotel. I drive a white 01 quad cab dodge ram with a ski-doo, yamaha, and 420 RACING stickers on the back glass!! We will have my banshee, a blue banshee, white yfz 450, blue yfz 450, and a hucken fonda 450r. Is it Friday yet???????

  4. I know what you guys are talking about, All you have to do is bend the ears down (the things with the 4 holes in them). I like mine alot other than when I am changing my oil!! I bought mine used from a friend and that little fabrication was already done to it.
  5. So I was out riding the other day and when I drag race goin through the gears 2-5 and go to down shift like 5-4-3-2, the shifter is solid will not move. If I push it really hard it will go, but I can't stand riding shit when it is not right. I have a trip planned for next week and need this thing fixed ASAP. Any info would be great THANK YOU!!!
  6. The best pull we did on the dyno was 72 rwhp (rear wheel horespower), from what I know between the 33's-35's it should be about the same. When we dynoed the ambient temp was around 83 deg and high humidity. I was going to Silver lake that week, so it was a little rich at the time just in case the weather was cold but there was still a leaway between rich and lean, no doubt it could have went leaner. The air fuel ratio was around 13.2/1 max throughout the runs with air fuel monitor. With this jetting the reaction was fanominal, the engine sounded great. I ran it all weekend at Silver lake dunes and was pretty dominant considering still got the stock swinger...........Be sure your clutch is good and no t slipping on the dyno I lost between 10-12 hp from the clutch. And all this was with fmf fattys and not my CPI's. I put the fmf's on just to be sure I would get in the park, little did I know that when I went there they never even checked anybody DAMN!!!! From what I hear the CPI's should be atlest +5-6 hp maybe even more. sorry for the long post!!!!!! later Anthony

  8. Well here is my new findings, while on the dyno we had best results. Pilots are 68 needle 2nd clip from the blunt end and 160. I had it out at Silver lake last weekend and let me tell you this bitch rips!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. Hell yea silver lake was loaded, almost too many people!!!! It was fun as hell though, our campground was roudy at night...
  10. considering not fully dialed started at 53 with a 175 main and slipping clutch. and I was just short of 70 at 67.5 with 165 mains and 48 pilots, and between 36-39 ft/lbs..
  11. Well guys got some good news, for those of you with this infamous bog.......... I have been on and off a dyno the past few days.....Well I will start like this, first pull was with 175 mains and 50 pilots and needle in the middle. The air fuel ratio is at around 9.5-10.2 to 1 which is rich as hell, so I changed to 165 mains a 48 pilot and needle as lean a possible. So back on the dyno again air fuel now 10.5-almost 11.3 to 1 and a 10 hp increase not that it matters. Well the guy at the shop had to run for the rest of the day so I had to go home.....well I unloaded her out of the truck and took her for a rip around the neighborhood and holy sheet the infamous bog is gone and this thing is a totally different animal. I will be back on the dyno hopefully tomorrow with 160-162 mains and the needle 1 clip richer, and that should be pretty damn close. Just when I thought this motor was rippin WOW this bitch really pulls now. On the first pull my clutch was slipping bad so I went ahead and put a new toomey clutch in and wee will see what happens tomorrow. I have ben in contact with jim at PRE with my findings........I will post again with my results from the new jet change (160 or 162). Hope this helps most of you. All these beasts are different so don't take and run the shit out of yours and blow her up and blame me........these are just my findings I'll be postin soon!!!!!!!! Anthony
  12. I have the same problem with 33's that flat spot is a bitch, same as everyone elses. I'll tell you what there should be some happy people when there is a cure for this common problem with these 12 ports!!

  14. Yup I run my snowmobile and the banshee out in from of there (bobby macs) when I am not up riding. I'm down for some gravel pits though in the local area during the week.

  17. We are going to Silver lake SEP 3-6 with about 12-16 others and camping at the grounds. If anybody is interested in goin and plans on camping you better reserve your site last I heard on friday the 20th there was only a hand full of sites left. Hope to see ya there!!!!!!!!!! That camp ground has something coming......
  18. They are pretty strict about arresters but noise, I am runnin CPI inframes and pass the test at 97db. State law is 95 but they let 98 into the park thank god. I bring a extra set of fmf's just in case. I am goin on Labor day, anyone goin from BHQ?
  19. Just wonderin if anyones got one of these killer motors dynoed yet? I am taking mine in tomorrow the 25th to GET HER DONE, just for shits and gigs!!!! I'll post a pic of the sheet when I get it back.
  20. ANY BANSHEE OWNERS GOTTA LOVE THAT SOUND, ALL THE GUYS I RIDE WITH KNOW THAT SOUND AS THE DINNER BELL..............ON THE DRAG STRIP THAT NOISE SCREAMS...........COME GET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ONLY TIME IT GETS OLD IS DURING WARM UP BUT ALL YOU DO IS PULL IT TO THE SIDE IN THE START POSITION. JUST MY .02
  21. I AGREE WITH (.) CHECK THE RIMS TO SEE IF THEY ARE BENT, BEEN THERE. REPLACED AN AXLE DO TO WHAT I THOUGHT WAS A BENT AXLE AND ONCE ON A COUPLE OF STRAIT EDGES THE AXLE WAS FINE. AND IT WAS ONE OF THE RIMS. I'D BE LOOKIN AT THOSE RIMS..... HOPE ALL WORKS OUT FOR YA......................LATER
  22. I LIKE MINE, I GOT THE STOCK SHOCKS BUT THEY ARE STAYING WHERE THEY ARE AT IN THE BOX WITH THE REST OF THE STOCKIES!!!!! THOSE ARMS ARE +2+1
  23. I CALLED CPI AND THEY SAID 6" FROM THE EXHAUST FLANGE. MINE APPEAR TO BE PRETTY ACCURATE.
