420 RACING

probably going out to the bay......I am having some clutch issues After I make a few runs the clutch won't disenguage. Hey bizkit what are some symptoms of the ball getting welded.

Well I just thought I would give a review on the new motor that I had built by A&S racing (Dan Hull) of Lansing MI....... Heres what was done...Level six port job and the other list of goodies below. I got it all together last week and took it up to his shop to get it dialed on the dyno....results were amazing I took it in there and we made the first pull at 42 RWHP....with just a few jetting changes the numbers were in the 80 range and that is not tooo bad for a mildly ported motor on gas. I previously had a Passion motor.....I am not talking bad about Jims motors but holy shit this fucker pulls like a train and comes on nice and strong at 6,000 RPM and pulls all the way to 10.5-11,000 RPM. If anybody ha any questions about it let me know and I will try my best to answer. By far out of all the people I have talked to about these SHEES Dan is by far the wisest and most thural about these machines....His work and shop are absolutley exelent with all work being done in house also easy to get in contact with. I got a set of 33 PWK's, I paid 380 for these and they are only 4 months old. They only have about 10 hours on them. Make me a reasonable offer.........

I'll second the +60, I got snowmobiles for when the white stuff is on the ground.

Not too sure......I am going to Lansing (A&S)in the morning to get my new stroker dynoed and after that I will probably go to the bay!!!! Some time in the early afternoon I am hoping to be back in town

I will have a A&S stroker hopefully by the end of the week for the shee!!!!! We just got back from the UP SLEDDING trails were great got a little over 500 miles in, feels like I rode a horse the hole time. I have a white and blue shee and a Mach Z Millenium that I brinng out there to the bay..

Well guys just called the bait shop over there and they said they have 2-4" in the lake and there is 4-6" in that bay to the left by The Raft. They said there were people fishing out there but the ice was a little shoddy for them to go out there yet. Hopefully only a couple more weeks till we can ride on it.

Usually there is but there is no way to tell for sure. Last year there was alot of snow, it was fun as hell with paddles. Nothing like doing a 60 foot circle in third or forth ass end sidways ass hell kicken up a serious amount snow.

Yup i was there in 03 also that was closed due to the 8 wheeled tractor that they were going to use to groom the strip went through the ice it took a house moving company to lift that mammoth out of the ice. And 04 the ice was questionable to drive a car on, those lazy asses didn't want to drag all of the shit out 1/4 mile to set up the track. But there is always drags at the campgrounds and infront of what used to holiday on the lake. Hell yea!! Houghton lake is the biggest inland lake in Michigan. If there is alot of snow though you may have to ride the shore line to stay on the hard pack. Just to give you a rought size of the lake it takes about 30-45 min to lap the lake at about 60-70 on a snowmobile. And if you come I hope you are over 21 lots of snow bunnies!!!!!! I think you know what I mean. The bars are jammed and the tents that they set up outside are jammed also......lots of fun. any more ?'s I will try to answer.

Just wondering if anybody from here has plans or is planning on going? Dates are as follows Jan 14-16 and 21-23 of 2005. Tip up town takes place on Houghton lake. There is alot of things to do like em BEER TENTS, helo rides, polar bear dip, clothing vendors,bracket drag racing on the ice, radar runs by displacment cc's, and a whole lake to tear up. I had my banshee out there last year along with my snowmobile, there was like 8-10 inches of snow all hard pack I had my 10 paddle haulers and holy shit they hook up great on hard pack. Just thought I would drop a little info a couple weeks early.

I was going to have GRR build me a motor but getting ahold of them is impossible, I have left SHIT loads of messages over the last 2 months, hey I aint gonna beg them to build me a motor. So my cylinders are at A&S right now gettin done, little did I know that A&S was only an hour from where I live.

I'll be ready for some action, just like i been doin the last 24 years!!!!!!I actually never been on the black river other than on a boat. But I sure do have alot of weekends, Saturdays and Sundays. Anchor bay is a stone throw from my house. As for what I run out there..........I have a Bone stock Machz there, well maybe far from stock lots of special things. As for hookin up I have 2 tracks one for strictly ice (anchor bay and tip-up-town) and one trail. Watch out for those chisels. We will all have to meet up out there, lots of people but lots of landmarks. Talk to yall later.

Whats going on locals? The set up that I use is a set of turftamers cut lugs and 1 1/8 steel rotien ice pix. As for the frozen swamp trails in St. Jons Marsh, you wont be turning like you want to with studs. I also have a set of with kold kutters for playin out there. We are usually out there during the winter when we are not in the UP sledding. Considering it's only like 4 miles to the lake from my house. If anyones interested the UP got hit this week with 12-16" in the woods. Almost time to pull the sleds out!!! Might see ya out there this year!!

Well I paid over 1200.00 for the set up crank H129 +4 stroke and +4 rods 500.00, long rod pistons 150.00, cylinders at .20 over stock bore and were brand new before port job they have to put a clean cut on the ports after port job 400.00, port job 500.00, spacer plate 35.00. The motor has great bottom end mid and top it was set up for trails and dunes, the only reason that I am selling is that I am going to make this bike a full drag and this motor will not be enough. There is only 4-5 hours on the complete set up and it is in great condition. That is what I paid for it make me a resonable offer and I will let you knowquite a Anthony M.
