  2. I know this is the sand forum but I put a set of blackwaters on my shee because it would burn the stock tires off all the way into 6th in dirt. Well the blackwaters didn't help with traction as much as I thought they would so I changed to 15 in the front. I can still get loose but I'm alot happier now with the 15
  3. I heard the same thing about T6s not liking heavily modified motors, but I've never seen or heard any proof of it.

  5. I think T-5s have a huge power band. I would not consider them a top-end only pipe. My I changed from stock to the T5s it was WAY easyer to ride. More power from idle on up. The biggest gain was for sure at the top. If you don't like tons of power and a screaming rpm motor you probly shouldn't have a banshee. I would be willing to bet it you took T5s,PCs,Fattys, ect, ect,ect and put them on a stock banshee there would not be 3-5 hp difference between any of them. I will make one recamendation. What ever you get make sure there not the plain steal version I regret that every day.
  6. Would I be correct if I were to assume that "automotive style" or rods that have caps and tri-metal split bearings are superior to 1 peice rods with roller bearings? Connecting rods don't rotate, they recipricate or swing back and forth. They swing to the right and then the left every revolution of the crank. The inertia of the roller bearing must also do this, correct??? It almost has to stop and change direction. If roller bearings were better you would think super bikes would have them. Those thing turn 14,000 rpm easy, and their made to do it all day long. The only advantage I can see with the roller bearing is its easyer to lubricate.
  7. CAM2 has lead in it. It may help protect alittle against wear. I've ran nothing but cam2 or c12 in my bike, I think it runs better, It doesn't make more HP or anything. That stuffs not that expensive, espesially when you mix it 50%. Sure does seem to ping alittle more on pump gas. 5-6 bucks big deal I gladly spend that just for the way the exhaust smells AHHHHHH! maybe I smelled it 1 to many times LOL I always tell my buddies 4 stroke smells like a lawn mower
  8. Saw these in line water coolers on ebay and just wondered if anyone used them and if it was just a bunch of hype or if it worked? If so: 1. wich line is the return line on the radiator 2. where do you mount yours
  9. I've never rode a 2:1 pipe Banshee but I can say from 1st hand experience THEY SOUND F*CKING AWSOME
  10. I have Toomey T-5s and am very happy with them. My brother has the T-6s and they have a harder hit at the "top" but alittle less at the bottom. I've also heard many good things about CPI and Pro-Circut
  11. What is the difference between these carbs? I thought mikuni made keihns,.. Are keihns better? The mikunis are flat slides and the keihns anre pwks

  13. so I should throw those 18cc domes in the trash? I wish I would have found this board before bought them. Am I correct in assuming that increasing the timing 2-4 degrees will also raise cylinder pressure? Would this also hurt my top-end?
  14. Would it be better to port the stock reed cages or buy soom V-force ones? What about bigger carbs? Or do I need to stroke and/or port to really need them? Anyone here port thier stock cages I would love soom pointers. thanks in advance

Hi all, I have a 95 Banshee with the following mods: Toomey T5s, Individual K&N pod filters, Boost Bottle, pro design cool head with 22cc domes, boysen reeds, 310 main jets in the stock carbs, I run b8ev plugs. What is the next step for a boost in power? I have tried 18cc domes before and the motor did not seem to rev as high I have no idea why this happened, I tried to tune it with jetting but gave up and put the 22cc domes back in. My high rpm power came back but I still don't know why???? anyway whats the next logical hop up? thanks
