yes you can make the shee a trail bike. get a 2 into 1 pipe and a 2 into 1 carb, bump up the compression a little, and shee will be good to go. just rember to point that banshee were you want it to go and hang on, white knuckle riding past the trees is a rush!! eather bike will be a good choice, they are both easy to work on, and parts are easy to come by.

you dont have to "watch out " for anything other than any quads. check for frame cracks, any how does it run? just like any quad. i have had 14 banshee's i love the power of them. but i ride mostly in the woods, and on our mx track. the honda is a lot better in the woods!! but in the open fields, and drag racing the banshee rules. if yamaha could ever build a tranny like a honda they would have a killer quad. 90% of banshees are hard to shift, and a pain to get in neutral. hondas dont have that problem. i'am sure i will get another shee soon, i would like to build a asphalt drag quad.

i dont think so.. banshees are everywere. i can pick them up cheep. 250r's are getting hard to find. i'am sure i will have another shee soon. i just seem to find them. ask brock fuzzy about that.

whats a right rear spindal?

is it the front hole or back? if it is the back i have a fix. you grind off the outer part of the hole. it is just like a big washer with a nut tack welded to the center. get some solid round stock, drill a hole in the center, tap it out, and then put it in the hole on the frame and weld it up. buff it down, and you are done.

pull the plugs look for aluminum. sounds like you broke a piston, and a piece of it is sutck between the crank, and the lower case. quit standing on the kicker. if a chunk of piston is stuck you will break something.
