im in the same boat as you papa.my top end is getting sent out on monday280 bucks,new crank from tony ducas400 bucks,new head300bucks,and ya gotta figure for seals gaskets and other shit your gonna want to replace.that brings it up to like a grand.kinda sucks but itll all be worth it,especially when im puttin it all in a new frame any way good luck and go for that cool head. oh yeah this all started with a stupid clutch problem that i probably coulda fixed for like a hundred bucks.

looks like a piston blew up in there.same thing happened on mine and i think im just going to replace the whole thing.

my crank hasnt gone yet but i figured while i was in there.....well you know but now that ive been thinking about it.theres a lot more i could use the 550 for.what other work do you have to do when you go with a stroker?

im in the middle of a tear down and cant decide whether or not to put in a stroker crank or stick with stock and spend the money on other parts.Is the power increase that considerable?

I SAW A PICTURE OF A BLASTER WITH A TURBO ON IT, HE USED THE TURBO OFF AN OLD CARAVAN AND DID THE DUCT WORK HIMSELF.IM SURE YOU COULD DO SOMETHING ALONG THOSE LINES.ANY SMALL TURBO WOULD PROBABLY WORK

i think the attitude about this is the same throughout.this is a great site dedicated to the machienes we love.im new and dont know blutraxx but it sounds pretty shitty and would hate to have to go there.the posts here have helped me a lot and would hate to see all that info go to waste.lee can do what he wants,lets just hope its keepin this site alive. i was out riding with a friend of mine by his house.hes been tellin me hes built this new jump, so i go with him to check it out.hes hittin it fine all day, but im not used to jumps that big.it was like a 30 footer to the backside of a hill.well i finnaly mustered up the balls to go for it so im in like tappin out 3rd but it felt way to fast so i let off a little,welllll that was probably one of the dumbest things ive done in a while.anyway i nosed bad,went over the bars,under the shee,down a hill and somehow the damn thing ran over me again.i was so pissed off, i got on the thing and held wide open in 3rd preloaded and landed it fine.THEN I WENT HOME AND HURT FOR A WHILE.

there is a little switch on the left hand side of the bars, turn it to run.JK IDONT HAVE A CLUE IF ALL YOU DID WAS PUT A CLUTCH IN.
