Too narrow? The end of the pivot tube should be about 1.5" from it's face to the tangent of the side tube... At lease that's what I see... Shock mounts should be close... By all means bring the suggestions thanks for the tips

Etching is not an option it will just fill up with powder and not exist... Throttle I agree with removing the center portion of pinch area and will do so. Nothing of mine is plasma it is all laser.

side note on the sleeve... I may have to just keep them plain without text... also they would have to be full seam welded which may not be a good idea... That is still in the works....Or I can leave the text and rivet them into place after PC.

Fixture is done just need to machine pivot tube to spec (waiting on bearings) and this wil be headed into welding early next week.
