  1. I am going to put a hot rod long rod stroker crank in my shee. I am going to need everything. Should I try to buy a kit with everything in it or would I be better to try to buy all the parts seperate? If so where is the best place to buy everything? Do they sell kits anywhere besides ebay?   2. So tell me if Im right if I stroked it with 4mm long rods I wouldnt have to do anything to my port work if I used a spacer plate. All I would have to do is my the crank, pistons(wiesco 795), and a spacer plate and I would be set? Am I right or wrong? Thanks Travis

  4. Well I am going to have to replace my pistons too because I had a wrist pin bearing failure. I already have a woods port job. Would I have to use a spacer plate or not? Would I loose any of my low end torque if I stroked it with 4mm long rods? Thanks Travis
  5. I am going to have to repalce my crank and I have heard two terms, a hotrod crank and a stroker crank. What exactlly are they and what are the pros and cons of both? Thanks Travis
  6. I have talked to Eric several times in the past and never had a problem geting a hold of him until here in the last few weeks. I have tried at all times of day and cant get a hold of him. Has anyone talked to him lately? I need to speek with him ASAP. Thanks Travis
  7. I have the mods listed below in my signiture and was wondering if I would be able to feel enough results if I was to get a 2 to 1 carb. I have a woods port job and love the low end I have and DO NOT want to loose it. Would a 2 to 1 carb help or hurt my low end? Thanks Travis
  8. If I run 110 with 18cc domes will the powerband be where it always was? Like down low? I would like it to rip hard, on the low end. I cant compression check it since the motor is seized.
  9. Yeah thats why I was wondering if the Viper sleeves were any good and when they blended would they loose their performance.
  10. What do you shutter stalling? So are you saying my ocatne was too low? I am running what ever plug is stock...I think its a B8ES...does that sound right?

  12. I am running AV100LL. I have a Noss cool head with 20cc domes and I run Engine Ice coolant. I have +4 timing. I dont know my cmpression because my gauge is broke. Based on this do you still think it was pre-detonation? I talked to David a Noss before I ran it and he said AV100LL would be ok with my setup, so I dont know what went wrong.
  13. Well I wanted to know if the sleeves were worth the extra money or if I should just buy normal sleeves. I was wondering if they really do give you that much HP gains.

I am going to need to have my cylinders re-sleeeved and I was looking on E-bay and saw these. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...&category=43977 They show that they increase your HP quite a bit and I saw wondering if anyone had every used them or knew someone that did. I have a Gorr woods port job and will have to have him touch up the sleeves. I was wondering if this would affect the performance. Thanks Travis

  17. I am thinking about getting some 69mm big bore cylinders and I have a few questions because I dont know much about big bores. Ok my first questions is if I buy a set of jugs with pistons do I have to have a head that is spacific for big bores or can I use my Noss cool head? Also I have a Gorr woods port job done to my stock cylinders, could that be done to a set of big bores or would it be messing things up? Also about how much HP would I gain? I love the low end togue I have with the woods port job, is there anyway to get that out of a set of big bores? Thanks Travis
  18. All clips were still in place. This was definately a bearing failure. They were new bearings and were lubed prior to installation. Engine ran probably 10 hours before failure. Right one came apart and did massive damage. Left one bearing cage was gone with only needles and cage ends left. Go figure......
  19. I just had an Eric Gorr woods port job done to my shee. I love the low end torque it has. It is like a different machine. It hits the power band right off the throttle and I love it. It also works great for drag racing because you can get a great start off the line. I currentlly have a set of FMF power core II pipes and silencers. I love the way toomys sound. I wouls like to get a set of toomys but I have heard they dont have much low end. Is this true. If I was to get a set of toomys would I loose the low end powerband and torque that I love? If toomys wont work for me then I will just keeps my FMFs. Thanks Travis
  20. RBD, then for a ported motor what would you suggest? I would like to get some that might give me a little more HP, if ya know what I mean.

  22. Well I love the low end power it has now and I love how my power band hits so quick, going by this which do you think would be best for me?

  24. Oh my bad I forgot to update that. I now have my port job back and installed, got it in last week...Well I had wisecos but I had both my wrist pin bearings fail this weekend and ruin both my pisons and tear the hell out of my cylinders so I am now thinking about Vitos because they are suppose to give you more HP but I am not sure that is true. Thats something else I am trying to find out.
