Dude stock bike very cold weather or even add after market pipes? Jetting is lean makes it harder to start pull choke (is actually an enricher).most all Banshees benefit from a slight richer pilot. IMO once air box lid is removed for better air flow you have a much better breathing Shee

Experience from 250r bellow reeds made a lot of low end. Between reeds and carb made a smoother broader power band definatly noticed a differance. Same rules applied when put on banshee!!!

Your needle should be in the middle position while trying to jet. that way once you get close you can fine tune it with needle if needed. Power delivery should be consistent and aggressive.

A 27.5 to 30 usually works really well. Easy starting smooth power delivery. From bottom to top but once again jetting is different for every bike.

Geee four stroke and lincoln electric not a banshee!!! Not a two stroke like I said last time you did a leak down on a two stroke what did it tell you???? Did not answer just talking smack!!! Anyway certified is only book smart no real world problem solving skills!!!

Must admit T5s were awsome when I first heard them back in 1995. Sold my honda 250r and bought a banshee!!!! Just to get a bad ass ride told every one I know that a banshee was the sh#t. They did not buy one now they are eating my dust with their slow ass 250r hondas. I do not know why they think that thing is so great ????? T5s are great I have a Paul Turner National Port Job V-Force reeds cool head 20cc domes 185psi. And man my shit screams!!!! T5s all the way.

5n7 is the stock needle. middle postion is probably okay those clamp ons are drasticly changing your jetting issues!!! A hard start would be pilot or a need to choke after a short down time between starts. (HARD STARTING)Would be pilot, 25 is stock. Jetting is a difficult issue no one is going to be able to tell you exactly what you need. Banshees are an awsome machine and their limits are unlimited or by your pocket book. A 300 main would be the smallest I would start with 27.5 to 30 pilot. do not run it to hard until you have your jetting dialed in!!!!!!!!!!!

Have paul turner national port 34mm carbs clamp on filters dyna ignition pro-design head 20cc domes T5 pipes br8es plugs 20 pilot 330 main all around riding 360 drag racing main jet was running stock cages with boysen reeds switched to V-Force gained an enormace amount of throttle response and top end was definatly a good purchase would recommend to any shee owner. Allowes much more revs.

mutiple things. ignition switch (key), kill switch (handle bar )coil wires or plug caps stator, pickup coil cdi box if it is an older bike 1987 to 1994. Make sure all connections are clean and secure nothing loose.

Well today it was 75 degrees rode all day and my 927 never failed me. That cold weather must really be something. Love my 927 and c-12. Shake it good or drive it far to so it gets mixed up well great oil just mix it well.

Have better advice my fellow shee rider???? Or is your shee riding you????
