  1. i really like the asv levers...a bit pricy though if you ask me...are they really worth that much more than the msr levers? do they alloy for easier clutch pull like msr does?

  3. ok here is what i need: -steering stem bearing with seals -all 4 front wheel bearings and seals -swing arn needle bearings, with seals, washers, collar (everything needed) who makes good bearings? Are the no name brands on ebay ok? what type of grease should i use with all these? how much will i plan to spend on all this? while i am at it, should i replace the carrier and a-arm bearings also? I know this is alot of questions....thanks for your help guys...this is my first comlplete tear down and want to do it right.
  4. ok so basically there are 2 "major" kits. one with 495 bolts.....selling for around 180 and a 470 bolt kit selling for 100. so the question is are the remaining 25 bolts worth 80 bucks? i know that within those 25 are the bolts for the foot pegs and lower motor mounts...not sure what else is in it. as soon as i figure this out all i need to do is buy my bearings then its REASSEMBLING TIME!!!!!

  8. ok guys i am about to start reassembling the shee up and i started thinking...while its apart should i pop for one of those 495 piece polished stainless steel bolt kits. i have all of my old hardware..its not like i am missing anything i just got the frame powdercoated so i am not sure if i want old hardware on a nice new frame. what do you guys think? does it make a difference? anyone have any pics? is it really worth 180 bucks?

  10. how much shorter is an msr shorty lever? its time to buy some new levers. i am getting the raptor clutch perch and do not know what lever to get....scientificly....the standard lever will give me more leverage..what do you guys perfer? also, i cannot find a shorty brake lever ...do they make one......thanks guys
  11. alot of guys will jet for like 60 degress with out a lid on, then when the cold comes just throw the lid on
  12. i just put my bike on a stand and beat the bolt with a hammer...pops right out

  16. i would get another shee......nothing like all out power....for the other two, i would pick the 450 over the raptor
  17. get a port job....depending on how much you want to spend....alot of guys on here swear by eric gorrs port job for 200 bux
  18. the stroker cranks allow the piston to travel longer in the stroke, for example a +4 stroker crank increases the stroke by 4 mm.......also the aftermarket cranks come trued and welded.

  21. best thing to do is talk to a builder....they will port / design your engine with what you want to use. with 94 octane i think you can use a 21 cc dome size with an aftermarket head. like i said..talk to any respectable builder and they will walk you through all possible options.
