it separates the chain and lets your shock do its job...it makes a huge difference..to me at least...but you have to ride pretty hard to notice anything

i know there are lots of people that think neither of these parts do anything...but i know for a fact that they do... i need an amp link..it good condition also an aftermarket booste bottle new or in good condition let me know

checked the coil and tested fine: well it was electrical for sure at first...the bike ran fine...even on both sides...and then it would be like the kill switch was going on...just die out and come back about a week later...now it runs on one cylinder

hey guys..ive had some electrical problems recently and now im only running on one cylinder. I pulled the plugs,checked for spark, replaced the plugs, still ...one cylider...im pretty sure the coil is bad but i was wondering what one of the wires was for.. the wires that come out of the parking brake..were cut out...but i guess the guy just rerouted the wires using some home made reconnection ..instead of just taping them up...kinda confused me...it was a u shaped connection just taking one wire , splitting to two, and reconecting it......pretty weird...ive never seen that before but does nayone know what it could be and if it oculd have burnt out the coil im going to get the coil tested tomarrow i think

if you put 5 grand into a banshee and are just now beating a stock 450 in a drag..you need to learn how to ride i cant say anything bout you being a little kid cause im 16 myself...but i also can say that i worked for my banshee for a couple years and finally bought my 96 for 1400 bucks.. admit..i borrowed some money from my parents here and there for the damn thing...but either worked it off or payed them back. got some help from my cousin along the way too but that was just maintainence. the other two banshee's in my signiture are my cousins as well if anyone was wonderdering bluebansheetwin- i agree with you..people go off too much in this forum..and some people act like their shit dont stick...but i still love it.

an engine needs 3 things to run...fuel, igniton, and compression if you go check it out...kick it over and listen for compression...pull the spark plug wires and check for some spark (just ground them to the cylinder head....kick it over and just listen to it...sometimes it obvious sometimes its not (if you hear chattering then that could cost some money i've been taking a class on engines and sh*t and basically when i repair anything..i check for all three components it only takes a minuet or two make sure its got oil in the crankcase and that the gas is being mixed right also ..i paid 1400 for a 96 banshee that runs great...1200 may be a little high for something that doesnt run..but my pockets aren't too deep lol hope that helps
