Hey all, I need to know, is there ANY way to make the shee stear more easily? I feel like I'm driving around a mack truck. When I get on my buddies R, stearing is effortless. So, what can be done about? Or is this the nature of the beast and just gonna have to live with it? Thanks in advance. OutKaste

The best way to get the nut off is with an impact. Another way is to insert a newer penny (aluminum) between the gears to hold it. Please keep the flames low guys. I know that not everyone does it the penny way.

Sweetshee, Mine are the same way. And compared to my buddies 250R, that sucks! They also rattle me pretty good going thru the whoops and similar. Race450, What do you have to have for the shocks? Master of Faster, The arms are greased. I even made a set of delrin bushings and SST inserts before putting it back together. They have a nice fit. It's definitely the shocks. Thanks

BB, Yes. They are at the lowest setting. I go 195 lbs. and get the snot kicked out of me when trail riding.

Hey all, Finally got my shee done and runs like a Now the problem is the suspension. The front end is sooo stiff with stock 03 shocks. What out there can help me for a decent price? I don't race. Just trail ride. But, there has got to be something that can make it a better ride. Thanks in advance.

evil, If you take the clutch basket off of the gear, there are round pieces of rubber about 3/4" dia. It is, IMO, to take up some of the shock when shifting.

Hey Boonman, You should really check the facts b4 posting. A good portion of what you posted is Clinton that you're talking about. Another portion is what has to be done by someone with balls. The rest, unfortunately, is just politics. I'm not real thrilled about the spending and especially our people being over there. I've got some very close friends that have seen things that have scarred them for the rest of their lives. Still, it needed to be done. I also give the armed forces the highest amount of respect for dealing with what they must and continuing on. As for loosing jobs, I'm a toolmaker/moldmaker. 2004LEBanshee, That's about 1.5-2 hrs away. That is one of the places mentioned earlier in Allegheny National Forest. Soon as the weather breaks, we'll be on our way. Would you be interested in meeting there or maybe stoppin in on your way through? If so, we'll have to keep in touch. What part of Ohio? We usually travel up to my aunts house in Port Clinton to do walleye fishing off her charter boat and jump on over to Cedar Point. L8r OutKaste

Hey, No riding out of Pa. yet. Just got this thing at the end of summer. Rode it a few weekends and started rippin & tearin. It's gettin a ground up fixin. Some moron worked on it before I got it and really did some stupid things. I wouldn't let the guy work on a bicycle! There used to be a good poker run down until 2 yrs ago, I think. It was one of the largest in the country. Cochranton Pa. Unfortunately, it was shut down do to too many inconsiderate riders and a bunch of tree huggers. We have a few places around here to ride and always on the lookout for more. There are some places in the Allegheny National Forest, Mid Pa., that we will be going to this summer and I guess these are some prime riding areas. Some of the trails are kept well 'groomed'. L8r

Hi all, I'm looking for advice on making my Banshee a torque monster. We do a lot of trail/woods riding and would benefit from more torque. Hey all, Is there somewhere on the web to run serial #'s for ATV's and check if they're stolen? There was a guy on Ebay selling an 89 Banshee frame. He claimed that there were no titles for them in 89. I thought they started titles in mid 87. Anyways, if I were to buy, actually before buying the frame, I would want to check the #'s so that it was not my butt in the sling. Also, a buddy of mine has an 86 250R that he bought. Never titled. How would you check to see if it was stolen? Thanks for any info guys. OutKaste
