Selling my 1996 Banshee you guys know what your looking at but I will give the details, Full bore plastics, lazer headlights, FMF fatty pipes titanum 2 silencers, V-Force reed cage, TORS removed, Trinity Cylinder head with 21cc domes, full set of sand and dirt tires, billet triple clamp with chrome fatty bars, relocated key and on/off switch. The top and bottom end were rebuild last glamis season. Iam only selling this one to fund my Corvette project. Asking 2,900 obo make an offer.   6. I used these Race Logic templates (sport port) to port my cylinders. These guys did there homework it works awesome. It gave me a little more bottom end but a lot more top end. I paid $100 asking $50.00 Thanks Derek 714-349-3803 [email protected] Located in Fountain Valley California.

  9. I just bought a red ims tank and need advice on stickers. I have factory yellow plastics race cut in the front, black yellow and red cascade seat, frame pc'ed silver. I would like to make it look kinda factory.

  14. SDD It was advertised as a +4 degree key, yes it was installed correctly, yes I used a torque wrench with cylimer manual specs. Yes you are right I didn't pay $20.00 for it, but I didn't think anyone would mind me rounding up. As far as compression, I have 21cc domes and I use premium pump gas.
  15. I bought the 4+ degree key from alba and installed it correctly along with a new top end job. With about six hours of duning in Glamis my shee lost compression. Both pistons melted and scarred the cylinder walls. When I split the cases to clean out the crank area, I found the degree key had broken into two pieces. My theory is that the erratic timing cause the melt down. So a $20.00 part cost me about $300.00 and a lot of work. Just my two cents. My recommendation would be to modify the stock timing plate.

  17. Just be careful with your fuel octane, I speak from experience. I just melted two brand new pistons and a bore job. I installed the pro-design cool head with 21cc domes and I installed the +4 degree key. I must have had bad detonation because the top of the pistons looked like someone was hitting them with a ball peen hammer. I was told I would have been alright with my combo if I had been running racing fuel. hope my experience helps.

  20. hey erbilabuc do you think I should port then bore or bore then port. The bores are pretty bad but will clean up going 30 over.

  22. I was reading the posts about the racelogic porting. you guys have convinced me Iam going to order it on monday. One question will I have to use a higher octane fuel, I run premium 91 now. I have 21cc domes,FMF fattys,carbon fiber reeds,and Iam going to rejet with pro-tec performance jets 410s. The jet is big but the needle is designed different, it is shorter. thanks for any info. I can't wait
  23. my local yamaha dealer sold me some pro-tec performance jets. The kit came with some shorter then normal needles and some big jets 390,400,410's. The instruction say with pipes and K&N, no air box cover to run the 400's with stock pilot. My stock pilot is 25. My mods include coolhead 21cc domes, .050 overbore, carbon tech reeds, ported stock reed cage,fmf fattys with stock silencers. Does anyone know anything about the pro-tec jets they seem really big to me.
