if you do this your gearing will be even higher than it already is. you need to go up in the rear to gear it lower. Good point man, I should have thought of that when I replied to his post.

Ok I now finaly have my Passion racing engine in and running. Its almost all broke ina and is running very good. I do have a slite hesitation when I first get on the throttle for some reason. As for my gearing I started with a 16/39 and worked my way to a 14/39. With the 14/39 this bitch is scary!!!!!!! When I first put the engine in the bike and started braking it in most of you know that I blew up my tranny. I tor into her and found my 2nd gear broke so I replaced the gears and put it all together and didn't work. So I then packed it up and off to Jim the engine went. He found that the 5th gear had welded its self to the shaft. Well we got a new shaft and 5th gear. When Jim got the 5th gear he told me that they totaly redisigned the 5th gear so we are guessing that this is an old problem or something. Well I got the engine back from Jim today and put it in the bike and I gave it a couple primer kicks and then I kicked it only once and it started right up. Drove it around the neigborhood and I have a few ass holes for neigbors and they called the cops. I got a ticket and then had to put her up. I don't have much experiance with powerful quads but I couldn't imagine having anymore power. This engine pulls so hard at such a low RPM un up to about 10,000 rpms that its really unbelievable. It is something that I have never experianced before. I have owned a ZX 6 street bike and this quad gives me so much more adrinalen ruch that its unreal. I can't say enough good stuff about this engine. Thanks Jim!!!!!!!!!!! Here I am riding a 5th gear wheely

Jim at Passion told me that I should post a pic of my crate. He said that this is the right way to crate an engine. I use 1 by 3s for the frame work and 1/4" plywood for the cover and I tied the engine down with rope really tight so it wouldn't move.

Thats no shit, you will do good to find just the engine for 800 bucks

But if you flip the backs around backwards the rear would be skinnier not wider. If you flip the front I understand that it would be wider but not the back.

I have a question, I know its probably a stupid one but hey I never claimed to be very smart haha. I have noticed in the past few days that some people put there rear wheels on backwards, I also just bought a pair of paddles and they look like they were put on backwards as well. Why would you do something like that? Whats the point??

personaly i think the 1194 is the best, the wood grain fenders and leather seats. They had style back then. Very easy to work on because theres nothing to them. AWSOME year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I used Transoil sae 10w30 thats what the dealer told me was the best that they had. Jim at Passion told me to just use regular 10w30 or 10w40 engine oil like catrol gtx or somthing. When I drained the oil out of the case I didn't see any kind of coolent in the oil, it looked good. Jim said that the guy that I got the banshee from could have ran it low of oil for awhile and filled it up when I got it because I dont have much time on it.

Sent my engine to Jim because I was do damn stupid to figure out what was wrong with it. Jim tore into it and told me that my 5th gear welded itself to the shaft and thats why it never had neutral. So now I need to buy a new shaft and 5th gear. Damn its never going to end. Jim said that in all his years he has never seen this happen before. He beat the hell out of it with a hammer and still didnt come off. We are overnighting the parts so hopfuly I can be on the road again by tuesday I hope. I need a little good luck or a donation pot so I can afford to keep fixing her haha.
