  1. Yea, if it's the T/A hood and not the 400 hood. Pics to [email protected] Thanks.
  2. Comes with everything listed. I have pics upon request.Fast and taken care of. $3500. Also has 2 new K&N filters and black outerwears. Billet bumper, foot pegs, gas cap,key holder, side case, h20 pump cover, clutch cover, brake resevoir, tail light, and comes with some sand sharks. May consider trades as well. Let me know what you have.
  3. Most open the exhaust valves on the compression stroke allowing the compression to go out of the cylinder, therefore the engine makes no power on a couple of cylinders, usually 2 or 4. That slows it down w/o burning up the brakes on long downhill grades, etc. Plus they sound really good through a set of 8" straight pipes. Most of the bigger trucks don't use the butterfly valves. Your light to medium duty trucks use those. Those are what you put on your Powestrokes and Cummins motors in the 3/4 and 1 tons. Too much expense to put a big-truck style exhaust brake on one.
  4. How did you like Balad? That was about the most God-awful place I've ever been. But we got 270 FMTV's armored up, so it was worth it.
  5. Good luck. I was in Balad at Camp Annaconda last summer (June-Oct) armoring FMTV's, 2 1/2 ton and 5-tons. We added about 3,000 lbs of armor to them. The soldiers really appreciate it. It's crazy over there. Hot as hell 130+ and we were constantly mortar'd and hit with rockets. Take care.
  6. Since I don't have a truck anymore, I don't have much use for the Banshee. It has sentimental value, and that's the only reason I'd consider keeping it. It has all of the mod's listed below, and a few more. I'd need $3000 for it, and don't want to ship it. I have pics if anyone is interested. The last time I rode it, it grabbed too well in 2nd and stood up on me in the sand and now the rear of it is higher on the right side, I think it tweaked the frame a little. Nothing that can't be fixed with a long pry bar. I have paddles and Hossier's for the rear as well.
  7. Try LS1tech, but it's a buyer's market now. I just gave $16K for a 01 WS6 with 42K miles, which I paid above average for. They aren't selling for much these days.
  8. It's in NW Oklahoma. I'd like to go, but I just bent the rear section of my frame and don't really want to ride a broke-down looking 'Shee where there are too many people around.
  9. I used to do that pretty easily, b/c going up steep ramps with paddles on the back kinda sucked. Just hope your front wheels stay straight. If the truck is tall and they turn you're screwed and get to try it again. Imagine how my back felt after doing that with my Dodge and 9" of lift...
  10. I just traded my truck in on a 01 WS6 Trans Am. It gets better milage and my girlfriend can drive it as well. The Dodge ws just to big to do anything with. Besides, the 'Shee sits n the garage 99% of the year anyway.
  11. From what I hear, the Cobra isn't coming out. That's the reason the Lightning got scrapped, b/c they were gonna share alot of the same engine components, so no Cobra..no Lightning.
  12. It's hard to beat the LS1 style motors. That LS7 is crazy. I finally got another one, a red 01 WS6 T/A yesterday. I'd love to see what that Z06 with a cam and some heads can do. GM is hard to beat, unless you get a Viper or spend over 70K. That's why Ford has to supercharge all their flagship brands to keep up with the natrually aspirated GM rides. Imagine that Z06 with a supercharger..rediculous.
  13. I still haven't checked Keldermans site, but if you're gonna do it, do it right. Jeff is the man as far as I'm concerned. I'd have gotten his kit for my truck if I had the money back then when I lifted my truck.
  14. Check wit Kelderman Air Ride. I know they do them for the 1-tons.
  15. I have it on Dieseltruckresource , Dodgetrucks.org, and LS1Tech. It's listed locally in the paper here as well. I'll try those as well. Thanks.
  16. I'm just trying to get rid of a payment for a little while. I've been dumping too much money into my '69 and need to get it on the road. The truck was getting 17mpg or so with the Edge box, but I've had it off the truck b/c of the new motor.
  17. I'm sure somebody needs it..
  18. Like it says, I'm thinking of selling my truck. It has 44K miles on it, and 4K on a new short block. Flywheel bolts sheared off somehow and it was $9500 for a new short block to be installed. I think most of the mods are in my sig. and the tires have roughly 10K miles left in them, with a new 35 on the spare rim. Asking payoff, which is $25K. The truck is black/tan int. everything but leather.
  19. I think he meant no mixing it with regular gas. I run 100% race gas, but $6 a gal. keeps the 'Shee in the garage most of the time.
  20. Yea, the wording was a red flag to me too.
  21. Scam. He has zero feedback and said he wants only $1500 for it.
  22. They probably just mount over your axle nuts, if I was guessing. That's how my Cascade knockoffs mount.
