True, HP dont mean jack without torque. Thats probly the answer to whoever lost to a yfz cuz the yfz got ahead and he couldnt catch the yfz..The two bikes are totally diferent i bet a 60-70 horse yfz keeps up or even beats 80-90 hp banshee's

Bottom line. Stock vs Stock the yfz is faster....It's nuttin to be startin B.S. about, it is almost 2G's more .

Hey, atleast they figured it out before it came out. Remember the tranny prob with the raptors? most of the time that was a hole i our pockets. All honda is doing is saving their costomers money ,I mean really? do u want to buy an atv and then have to put an extra amount of money from your pocket cuz it was the company's fualt. same here. the feb. issue right? I knew the bike would b nice when it came out,the problem is that the dealer i am getting one from said they wont be in till feb.11. So im still waiting for it....But in an older issue of another atv mag i have, it said that the new YFZ doesnt work that well on trail's but from what i see on the GNCC they work fairly well. The Q of this thread, My answer,my opinion: My uncle lives in PA and i ride the trails there just about every summer before i got my shee.(i had a blaster) it was brutal!! Tree stumps everywere! I would say to find an atv with clearance and grunt. Try either the raptor or the new kfx 700 kawasaki yea it's atomatic but i hear they work real good

Or if u dont like truck u could prolly gun for a Noen srt4, My dad works for dodge and we toped out that neon @155, It's really fast My dad say's with a lil money they take vipers no problem because they are really light.

No, there i a way the banshee has two 175cc engines and in stock form they only put out about 15hp each making a total of about 30hp stock, The banshee basicly has two blater motors. The YFZ has one big ass titanium 5 valve 450cc engine and stock it prolly put's out about 42hp (i think).....I think that is why we are getting beat by these new comer thumpers stock v.s. stock. Plus ontop of all that power u got about a 400-450lb atv with gas and a rider...on the banshee u got prolly about 450-500lbs. This is just my thoery in why alot of us get beat by yfz's....I think to beat the yfz u would need a stroker kit,shocks,tire's, and maybe a pipe...............And yes gearing does take a toll....A 4mm sttroke is like $650,shocks $500++, tires(rear) $80, pipe $500++ All that might b a sure win for the banshee,but i have never seen it happen. I have never watched a live race with those new thumpers only vidz n shit... I may be wrong so if i am can someone correct me a lil
