The peak hp was 2hp higher than the CPIs and at a lower rpm! So they will pull taller gears than CPIs. this statement makes no sense to me.it has a narrower powerband so it will pull taller gears?

go to the store and buy a rubbermaid tub with lid.drill holes on the edge where the lid and tub meet and wire tie the two together.

how would the coil go bad on 1 side when the ignition is dumb?meaning it fires both sides at the same time.one side it fired while piston is near tdc and one fores near bdc.

i have nothin against patriot but i think you could get the porting done by bill(adrenaline) very quick.i dropped off my bike on a saturday and by the next weekend he had built my 4 mil and was dyno tunin it.he has a dynojet dyno runnin the new software which reads lower than other dynos.so you are not gettin inflated dyno #'s.

bako,it was done by adrenaline powersports out of citrus heights,ca. i think it was $400.00 for the porting.the bike had a diff company dunerport before when it was stock stroke.the difference between then and now is huge.the 4 mil set up i have pulls about 10 bikes on my friends cam mod,sparks exhaust,filrtrered and jetted yfz.the old set up i would get beat by 5 or 6 bikes.

im takin my 4mil out there and im gonna run some of them.im a lil heavy so i may have a light guy ride it.what do you guys think the diff between me 255lbs and my friend 150 lbs be distance wise up olds?

my 4mm was done with the non blaster pistons and the builder custom cut the domes for the pistons.i dont run a spacer plate.the 4 mm gives better torque i made 43ftlbs and 77 rwhp.it runs a million times better than without the 4mm crank.

the only quad's that have beat me so far are other banshee's.

i got a garman etrex vista gps.

i thought i would add this.we tried shearer pipes and for some reason i made less torque and less peak and the curve was just a lil smaller.

the problem is that once modified the yfz will never be able to make the power a banshee can.also you have to spend way more money to get it to go fast.i will put my banshee 379 cc against any yfz 450 that is n/a on gas.say you put $3500.00 into each motor with the yfz you get maybe 55-60 rwhp.and the banshee you can get 80 rwhp.then you go drag race and the banshee will mop the yfz up.

also with the cpi pipes i still have good bottom end but i still have a insanely hard hit when i get on the pipe.

duece i have cpi inframes on my 4 mil and it pulls forever and falls off slowly.bike has a lot of overrev.i have an aggressive duner port.

my 4 mil just made 77rwhp and 43 ft lbs and i raced a bunch of yfz's and raptor's at pismo and spanked all of them bad.i beat a 690 raptor by like 8 bike lengths.get a 4 mil,cpi inframes,duner port,34 mm pj or 35mm pwk.that will mop up alot of bikes if tuned properly.

i rode it at pismo last weekend with some 9 paddle ultralites and a stock swingarm and i couldnt use 1 -3 at all and 4 th i had to play with.it would lift in 5th but was controlable.i smoked a bunch of yfz's and a sparks 690 raptor.im 250 lbs and once in 4th i could pull all the 4 strokes i raced by 5+ quad lengths.i was gettin people by like 8 + quads only really usin 4th and 5 th.i installed a +5 swingarm and changed my gearing from 13-42 to 14-41.hopin this helps me out .i will see this weekend.

ine was wheeliein in 5th at pismo last sat.but thats cause of the 9 paddle ultralites and 77rwhp and really wet sand.

i got a 00 red s10 extreme extended cab lowered 3 1/2 front and 4 1/2 rear.it has 18's front and 20's rear.has have a custom box with 2 solobaric l7 squares .2 hifonics z1000d monoblock amps 1 to each sub.and hifonics highs amp runnin the mb quart mids and highs. 93 lx stang with a 342 stroker full drag suspension. made 380 rwhp and 390 ft lbs .ran 11.78 @119 on reg radials.goes low 11's on slicks and low 10's on the bottle.

made 40+ft lbs from 7500 to 10,200.made over 70 rwhp from 8500 to 10,400.

rode the quad a lil today and all i can say is holy sheit it is way faster than it used to be.cant wait to go out in the sand with it.

final #'s were 77 rwhp and 42.4 ft lbs.
