  1. I started off at 6 on a 81 yamaha tri-z 175 my parents bought sed for my brother that was 12 at the time. we rode it for a while and dad sold it, we were devastated. after that i swore i would never be without somthing to ride. in 97 i bought a 85 200x blew it up sold it. 98 bought a 87 250x loved it to death, one of the best all round quads ever made to my opinion. End up i traded it or a 88 CR250r had so fun couldnt stay on 2 wheels, and it just so happened that the same place i got the 250r from had a 96 banshee on trade in for a 300ex (dumb asses) they were desperate t get rid of i traded the R in for the same price ibought it for on my prize possesion that still is makin mother earth wonder what the hell is goin on!
  2. hey there Aussie check out fixitrod's reply that explains everything!
  3. I had the same problem with mine, and it was the float valve. It was stuck wide open pushing to much fuel to my right side.
  4. Thanks Banchetta, I,m gonna try to change them the first chance I get. I'll let ya now how it goes.
  5. No, not the one on the web site, actual guy who works there. His email is jesselman@procircuit.com. I am tryin to copy the email to post it.
  6. I am about positive they are stock. I'm not sure on how to even get them out and check what size they are.
  7. The silver lake dunes are pretty close to were you live. We used to have a cottage on Rose lake, about ten minutes south of Coldwater, plus I do alot of fishing on Coldwater lake in the summer.
  8. I am gonna try to go not sure if I am gonna make it. 3 hour drive from were i live. If its warm I'll definetely be there. Was there Halloween weekend and it was a muddy mess. If ya happen to see a purple and yellow banshee, that might be me. Havent seen to any that color there this year.
  9. I have a problem with the throttle response on my 96 banshee. It has pro circuits, boysen rad valves , pro design filter, 290 main jets, 1 1/2 turns out on the air screw, plus i have 2, 2"x2" holes cut in the air box lid, no tors hooked up and no parking brake. For some reason it doesnt want to have snappy throttle response. If I am in third going around a turn I have to slip the clutch to get the R's up to get some power. Has good compression, and as far as I know the pilots are stock and the needle is in stock position.
  10. Hey I emailed them twice and finally got a reply the other day. They said I had a rare problem and that the stickers were supposed to last the life of the pipe. Aint that a bunch of shit!!!!!! If ya want the guys email address I'll post it for ya.
  11. A friend of mine had his 1 year old 96 KX 125 stolen out of his garae. they just found it August of last year in Arizona. We live in Ohio
  12. I have the same problem with my pro circuits. my guess would be buy some more from pro circuit, or maybe email them and tell them what is goin on maybe they might be nice and send you some new ones. thats what im gonna do right now!
  13. I put new plugs in before our ride. I havent checked them yet. I'm running 290 mains, i dont really think that is to lean. but then again i am pretty new at this. do they have thermostats like a car?
  14. It was my float valve that was stuck runs great now. This is the first that it has ran right since i put my pipes on. I cant believe how much they wake a banshee up. I rode at Haspin acres this weekend and had a blast, but quad oveheated twice. Well i think it overheated. It was blowing antifreeze out the overflow tube all over my pipes. was a lot of 2nd and 3rd gear riding, plus the guys i was ridin with were stopping every ten minutes. Was the slow riding the problem or do i have a cooling issue. Also thanks for the input on the jetting I'd probably be running way to lean if it wasn't for ya all. it is greatly appreciated.
  15. I did check the compression. it was alright. checked the reeds also, look like new. i just thought that maybe there could bea small hole in the piston or something. i called the dealership this morning. he said that it sounded like the float valve was stuck. he said if it is stuck it will suck to much gas and it wont burn it all. im gonna try that this morning when i get home from work. i let ya know my results.
