  3. hey i need a set of pro lite 64.50 rings the sticker on the box says k140 pro lite/513m06450-2 i could use a set of rings,head/base gasket set, wrist pin clips fast to nj 07747 i cant find " reliable " info on where to get just rings thanx
  4. i need a set of rings for pro lites 64.50 k140 pro lite 513m06450-2 thanx for 2 pistons plz
  5. thanx guys i kinda thought so i wasnt sure hey sickboy dude would you happen to have some base gaskets as well ??
  6. hey this might sound like a bad question but.... can we re use head gaskets ( stock motor, sprayed with copper gasket spray, not damaged ) the reason i ask is riva yamaha ( jet skii performance, dealer) suggests that with their aftermarket performance heads you should re use the stock metal gasket after spraying with the copper spray ive done this and it works with jet skiis this would be extremely useful in reading piston wash ( or in my case useful in reading what happens to your cyls/rings when your air filter cracks and your kick start gets real light )
  7. so i was right ?
  8. yes and no hows that for an answer? in a perfect world: pistons, connecting rods, ect would weigh exactly the same ( not rotating mass ) the crank/ flywheel can be " balanced" as a unit (rotating mass) the ratio of reciprocating mass is controled by the counterweights/piston weight, connecting rod weight ( the whipping around parts) these weights ( reciprocating )are " chosen" to produce frequencys ( engine vibration ) more or less at ( less at useful rpms) , ( more at un useful rpms ( more " shake " at idle ) ) good crank harmonics ( i think) is when the velocity of the reciprocating mass matches the energy of the " countering " energy ( perfect harmony) ( no shaky, shaky) this will only occur at a specific rpm so if you balance a crank/piston assmbly to operate with no vibration at low rpms it might shake badly at the high rpm range and if you balance for high, it might shake at low ( more shake a idel) in a two cyl the engine can create " sympathetic " frequencys where a crank can create vibrations at low and high i.e 1000 rpms no vibe,4000 bad shake, 7000 rpms no shake,12000 smooth this would be due to " phase cancelation" at this point i have to tell you that im not an engineer and all of the above could be wrong.( so somebody correct me if im wrong) hope i helped what was the question? i need a job
  9. next question? who rebuilds shocks?
  10. rebuilding sounds good my shock ( the one in question ) appears to be pulled out of the bottom ( threads?) by the rebound knob im a 190# rider and need a good " all around " set up rebuilding also sounds like " no riding for 2 weeks " and im not trying to hear that.
  11. hey i killed my stock rear shock ( snapped in half ) i need a replacement ( cheap ) can the stock one be rebuilt / revalved ? and who does it? i ride rec style but can be a bit aggressive is it worth getting an aftermarket shock ? thanx
  12. hey snapped my shock i need a good replacement ill take aftermarket for a good price but would prefer a stock one contact brian 732 566 0579 in nj

  17. does anybody know how to set up a stock suspension? and off set rims ? is wider really better , how wide is too wide? and castor/camber,toe in / out if i " flipp" my stock rims should i adjust my wheel angle ? and how do i measure wheel angle/toe in and tire pressure ? how much air is too much ? is the lowest pressure the best ? id also like to try to see comparisons of setups ( race vs stock/ rec rider ) thanx
  18. has anybody figured out how to make the white " creases " go away these are the lines left from bending the plastic fenders too far. heat gun and go really slow ?? i dunno somebody had to give this some thought
