I was lookin for just a regular cab with the 5.3. All I could find around here had the V6 or the 4.8, Im sure if i woulda looked more I coulda found one eventually but I needed a truck quick so I just went with the dodge.

I dont think you can go wrong with a new chevy, ford or dodge. Dodge does have a new lifetime warranty that is pretty nice tho. I just went thru the whole truck buying thing and drove quite a few trucks. I ended up getting a new Ram with the 5.7. So far it averages 15-16mpg in city and around 18-19 on the highway. I really like it so far. I really liked the chevys also, I just had a hard time finding a regular cab with the bigger V8. Just make sure and drive everything and get what you like the most.

I got my +2 off from the swing arm shop on ebay. Cost about 200 and it seems pretty well made.

it still has tors and everything seems right. All i did to change the jets was take the bowls off. Bith the slides are also perfectly in sync. I will try diconnecting the control box, what exactly does that do? thanks

i checked and they are both right. I dunno whats goin on, It ran perfect before and now with the same size jets it runs like its way to rich. If i pull the choke out a tiny bit it will just die..

ok so u found out the 340s were correct. I put them back in and the carb back together and started it up, it idles fine but when i give it gas it just sputters. I took the carbs back off and everything seems to be right. Its probably somethin really simple but i dont kow what. thanks

Ok i just got a new banshee, it has tommey T5s,boost bottle, reeds, and it has been ported, the guy i bought it from said he had jetted it so i wanted to see what jets he had put in it, they were 340s. Im thinking this is way to big but wasnt sure? what size should i use? thanks
