  1. You have to add more nitrogen. Its hard to find someone with enough pressure. I would call around
  2. That is a wide front stance.
  3. I agree with the +4. I have one on a dune port and it dunes and hill drags just fine.
  4. Spray Paint!
  5. I have looked for the '99 Silver frame paint, can't find it anywhere. It is different from 2000 and up. Post if you find some!
  6. I'm at 65 hp and went thru a Barnett in the first ride. Get a Tusk or a stocker.
  7. Just loosen it up, put some Blue Locktite in and tighten the "Pee" out of it.
  8. They may look nice, but they are very easy to beat with a Banshee up the hill
  9. Vito's on ebay $50. Easy to install.
  10. I can easily beat the new 700r up comp hill at the dunes. Mine is only milled, ported and has T5's. Don't be deceived by the high cc's, it takes a lot of 4 stroke cc's to keep up with the shee.
  11. I use a ziptie around both pods to squish them together slightly or couldn't you go to a two in one filter?
  12. Race him, you will kick his but, especially up hill!
  13. I have some side to side play in the stock axle. The brake disk is mounted tightly but seems to be loose on the axle. Is there anything that can be tightened or is the axle possibly wearing out in this area? I'm leaving for the dunes today , so hopefully this is nothing serious. Please help.
  14. Find out the octane that you need. You might consider a 50/50 mix of AV gas and premium unleaded.
  15. Try Oury ATV grips. They are softer and more comfortable. Might be hard to find though.
  16. I did the same thing coasting down the hill. The only way to fix was to split the cases $400. If you end up doing that have the crank trued and welded while its apart $75. You don't really need a clutch saver kit as long as you don't hold the clutch lever in while coasting or extended ideling (sp). Good luck. Lets us know how it turns out.
  17. I just had a dune port job done. After reassembly the engine bogs right off idle (from 0 to 1/8 throttle). I turned the air screws in to 1/2 turn out and it got a little better, still a slight bog off idle. I also turned up the idle slightly. These are stock carbs. Other mods: No air box, T5's, +4 timing adv, V-Force, 350 main, Toomey needles 4th groove from top, stock 25 pilot jet. 1000 ft elev. Does this mean its lean off idle? Should I go up to the next larger pilot jet? Thanks in advance for the help. This is a great forum.
  18. I switched to Amsoil series 2000. 50:1 No problem! I bought my shee used and didn't know what oil was used before.
  19. What is more spring rate? Is that a stiffer spring? How do you do that?
  20. Thanks DD, They look nice 4 1/2" bolt on for $179 + $15. You can still use the stock brake line.
  21. Does anyone know where to get one, or who sells these?
  22. Where is D&M Racing in Phoenix, do you have a #?
  23. Does anyone know how much a stock head can be milled and still be reliable?
  24. Thanks for your help Dunedemon. A shock oil change? Is that the same as recharging it? Where is the best place to get that done?
