  2. I find it funny that he has NO idea what we are talking about yet he spelled swing "swig" in both his new name and his old. Busted!
  3. Did you guys see the counter!!! 180,000 + people looked at that thing!!
  4. If you do go look at it do a compression test on it. I think that sounds kinda high for the year especially if the frame is tweaked and it needs plastic. I'm not sure what the compression spec. is but it better be at least 120 or better. If it's not it'll need a top end rebuild. If it does need a rebuild I'd definately walk on unless he'll come way down on the price.
  5. Mine does the same thing. It pours smoke out of the right side (when cold) and a "normal" amount out of the other. Runs good and no problems. On mine, it CAN'T be the carbs bec. I have a Trinity CV setup with a 35mm PWK. So that rules out the carbs. By reading this I feel a lot better about it becuase it must be normal if that many people have that problem and it still runs good!!
  6. What town are you in shee rider. I am in Fremont, OH.
  7. And here I thought I was the only unfortunate one to have a SORRY ASS dealership in my town that is full of lazy dumb-ass slow-ass goofy bastards that don't know their ass from a hole in the ground but think they know everything about everything, and if they even look your way they are doing you a favor in thier eyes, and they charge $45 for a $21 dollar part and don't even have the son of a bitch in stock, tell you it'll be there on Tuesday, you call on Wednesday and the shit STILL isn't there then they hang up the phone without even saying bye or they're sorry for wasting your time.........GOD DAMN STEALERSHIPS SUCK!!!!!
  8. How strict are they at Silver Lake?? I'm talking about spark arresters and that stuff. I don't know how you're gonna catch sand on fire anyway but...............
  9. What decal is this?? Can you scam it and post it??
  10. Holyman did mine and it feels great. Can't beat his price OR his service. Very quick turmaround! I had it back in about a week TOTAL! I think he should charge $25 and even that would be more than fair!!
  11. I have one on mine. WHO CARES ABOUT NOISE! IF you have a decent exhaust you'll never hear it anyway! I never noticed any noise soming from mine. It seems to work pretty well for me. No complaints here.
  12. I am in the process of putting a clutch in my shee. There is rubber O-rings in between each steel plate. I have never seen this before so I got my manual out. They are called clutch cushions. Are they necessary?? A few of them broke and a few others are about to. Help.
  13. If you uses a 1/2" impact it should take that nut right off. If it turns when you hit the trigger on the impact you have problems. Is the top end of the engine on it?? Even if you hold the flywheel with your hand and use the inmact it should still work. If will bounce around in your hand while you're doing it but it should still come off.
  14. Pretty friggin' awesome!
  15. I've got about the same mods and I'm anxious to hear the answer to that question. Hey Zep............did you modify your stock plate to advance your timing?? I was wondering how much you can advance with a stock plate modification. That is how I'm gonna do mine but I want to go about 3 to stay on the safe side.
  16. Now that's more like it! Finally a decent response that actually tells me something!
  17. Actually for everybody's info I PMed him over a week ago. I figured he was out of town or something, that's all.
  18. I have been trying to PM Boonman and no response. Does anybody know how I can get ahold of him??
  19. I'm sure a few people will jump my shit but I'll ask anyway. I did a search on this and didn't find what I'm looking for. Does anybody have specific info for modifying your stock timing plate to advance it about 3-4 degrees?? I need to know how far to go and any other little tips or tricks that go along with it. I have the plate off and I'm ready to do it.
  20. I think that most of the pads out there are junk. I bought some cheap pads twice now and I have the same problem. Buy some decent quality pads and try that. I wonder if cross drilling the rotor would help it self clean a little better??
  21. I just put a set of Toomey T-5's on my machine. The silencer mounting brackets don't line up with any existing holes. Am I missing a bracket or something?? I made some brackets out of steel but being mounted rigid like that makes if vibrate pretty bad. Does anybody know what is supposed to be there?>?
  22. I believe there are two different portions of the stator. The lighting coil and the ignition part. Maybe there was a problem with the lighting portion of the stator. Get a test light and check for power (or better yet a volt meter) before you put new bulbs in and smoke them too. If the voltage is excessive or none is present that'll help you figure out what happened.
  23. I have a Trinity 2 into 1 carb setup on my machine. It has a clamp on K&N like most others. I don't like my filter being exposed like it is becuase it gets covered with mud/dirt etc. Does anybody make an airbox for this setup?? I looked everywhere and as far as I can see there isn't one available. I would like to have one that mounts on the stock holes. Of course the top would be open. I may have to fabricate one.
  24. I called the tech line and it is the right ones. It was standard bore before and I can go to .100 over so I still have some life in the cylinders. It just struck me odd that the port is still somewhat covered when the piston is at BDC. The piston does go to the top of the cyl. like it should and it runs good so far. I did order .020" and they sent me .040. I didn't wanna screw around sending them back and all that so I just went .040". No biggie.
