  1. I'll have to go down to the Yamaha shop and get jets that big. Isn't that alittle big for an unported shee?
  2. I was wondering what ball park jetting I should run. I ride anywhere from 1500 to 2000 feet up. I have DMC 916's, K&N clamp ons, and Cool head 21cc. The temp. can be anywhere from40 to 65. Thanks ahead of time.
  3. I was wondering with my mods could I run 28mm's and a bigger sproket. i have t-5's cool head 21cc domes, k&n pods, and vforce 2. If so what size sproket and will I notce any difference with 28mm carbs.

  5. I am looking to setup my banshee for an all around power feel. I ride open trails some mx tracks and dunes. I currently have dmc 916's k&n pods cool head with 21 cc domes. I was wondering along with porting what should I do. I was thinking of putting some t-5's 28mm carbs v-force 2 and porting. Is there a better combo that would fit my riding better. I am open to suggestions.
  6. Well from what I have heard I will go with the deltas, advance my timing and lighten my flywheel. But my question is where do I advance my timing and lighten my flywheel. Also how much does it cost.
  7. I recently took a trip down to Florence with a bunch of freinds. While I was down there I had a great time but was kind of disappointed with my power. My mods are DMC 916's, Cool Head w/21cc, K&N pods. I have 2+1 a-arms and Elkas so I am trying to set my self up for more of a mx bike. My question is I ride open trails, tracks and dunes. I want the power now so sending off to get ported is not an option so if i went with delta 2's and 28mm carbs and later wanted to get it ported if that would be a wise choice and would I need bigger carbs after the port. Any info would be appreicitated.
  8. I was mounting my Elka piggy back shocks on today and noticed that the Nytrogen Purge Valve cap had fallen off. when I went to put it back on it released alittle nytrogen. barely any. My question is should I take it somewhere and have them test the full one and fill the one I leaked so it matchs the first or should it be fine.
  9. I have been trying to purchase a-arms for Gary for three weeks now. I have called him twice and left messages both times. I have always heard good things about his customer service and availiblity to talk. I was just wondering if there was a better way to get ahold him. Any suggestions i'd appreciate.
  10. My bike is an '03. If I was to port it is there a difference in a Mx port or a trail port.
  11. I am stumped as to what my next mod should be for my fourwheeler. I ride mostly trails and am starting to get into mx. I have dmc 916's, K N clampons, Pro design Cool Head with 21 cc domes. I don't plan on becoming a racer but I do want it to preform very well. I am going to order new shocks and have my rear rebuilt. So what should I do for more power.
  12. I am looking at picking up some new pipes and was wondering what the main differences between these two is. I ride mostly mx and opens trails and occasionally go to the dunes. Which pipe is going to be the better one for my riding style.

  14. I am looking into getting new suspension. I was thinking that I was gonna send my rear shock down to TCS and have them re-valve it for my specs. First off is this the right way to go and secondly would it be a bad idea to run elkas up front with the tcs/stock rebuilt rear shock.Thanks
  15. How would you go about checking for an air leak. What would be the simplest way to find out if I have one and where it is?
  16. I also have a set of these on my banshee. Nothing in my book sounds as good as the dmc's revving out. I think they are a great pipe and would buy them all over again. But if you are looking for a pipe with loads of top end then these aren't for you.
  17. I went to the dunes this past weekend and was unimpressed with my fourwheeler. I want to change pipes. I have dmc 916's on there right now and want to change to PTR mids. I know that the DMC are low and mid pipes. The thing I don't like about that is it sacrafices to much top end. I want to have mid power for when I ride trails but want more top end. With the PTR's how much of change will I notice in the mid to top end. I ride mostly dunes and open trails with seldom tight trails.

  19. I went to the dunes this weekend and my bike was running like crap and needed to be rejeted. I had 280 mains in and I called one of the shops that I have always gone to and the guy in service told me to run a 400 main. I put it in and the shee ran great. Is the main a little to high or is the guy right and I am just weird. Also my eleveation was about 1000.
