  1. The front sprockets are only about $10 at the stealerships. If you can afford gas a sprocket shouldn't be that bad.
  2. Yep, it was a 24mm. Thanks.
  3. It all depends on what you want to do with the motor. If you just want to clean it then it is pretty easy. If you are talking about completely dissassembling it then it's a little more trouble. It weighs less than 100lbs though. Unbolt and lift out. I've found it easier to pull it out from the stator side if it is still assembled.
  4. I love my Fattys. I think they are a great all around pipe.
  5. Oops, apparently fuckin doesn't automatically change to f*ckin.
  6. Well fuckin A, I didn't know what the f*ck he was talking about either.
  7. Don't waste your money on OEM screws. They are soft and strip too easy. Just go down to your hardware store and pick up some allen heads or get on eBay and get the whole set.
  8. I usually go with the clutch plates thing. Clamp some together with vice grips and then let the impact gun take the nut off. The inner basket spins without the plates to hold it in place. I'd try holding it with a rag but I'm sure I'd loose a finger some how!!
  9. Does anybody know what size the nut is that holds the water pump gear onto the crank? I don't have a socket big enough and need to pick one up on the way home. Thanks for the help.
  10. Check on eBay. You can get a set for both sides that are SS allen heads for about $20.

    Banshee Wanted

Might not be as cheap as you are looking for but mine is in great shape. My Shee
  12. I wrote him and told him what I thought and didn't get a response. His email address looks like he is from Bend, Oregon. If somebody has bought something from him they could get his real address through eBay.
  13. Why don't you like it? I just had mine done but haven't got to ride with it yet.
  14. NOOOOOO...............not the mighty boost bottle discussion!! I hear they add at least 35 HP to the rear wheels.
  15. My Shee for sale
  16. My Shee that is for sale
  17. PAYPAL.COM only one L will take you right to the site. It's easy from there.
  18. Sounds like a clutch issue. I had basically the same thing. Went to Barnett springs and no more problems. I think I'll be needing a new clutch soon anyway but the springs helped for now.
  19. Same here. I didn't like my twist at first but now I wouldn't go back to the thumb throttle. My hand never gets tired and it's easier to hold it. The only time I don't like the twist is when I'm trying to wheelie. It's hard to get off the gas while holding on to the throttle.
  20. Well, if you don't have the money or the time to fix it I guess it's better to trade it and then you at least have something to ride. I'm selling my 2000 right now so I can rebuild my 1999.
  21. Check out this link. It's a local guy that is just getting started in the business. Pretty cool graphics. I think his email is in there somewhere if you are interested. Sandlake Duners
  22. You may have clogged your pilots over time. If you ran some old gas it could have clogged them up.
  23. My reserve is $3500 so it will sell fast. I have my other bike all torn apart but I ran out of $$$ so I'm just waiting for this one to sell so I can get back out on the dunes. If anybody is interested let me know and I'll close the auction.
  24. Hey all, I'm selling my extra Shee so I can upgrade my other one. Check it on if you are looking for one. My Shee
  25. Oh, the almight choke tube! That little thing always gets me when I take the carbs off!
