funny you ask about the jets. I figured that I would have to jet up, so I went from 300's to 370 just to be safe, ran like hairy ass dingleberries. Worked my way down to 330 and still the same. After about 9 hours of cutting away at the air box and the mounts to make jetting easier on me I just put it back to where it was and that was at 300 and took the pilots to 30 and moved needle one clip towards lean. Ran a lot better but I am still super rich, I fould plugs every 3rd right or so. I am gonna try a 290 when it warms up because now that it is a little cooler here in Orlando (40-50 farenheit) it has been running great and the plugs are lasting. The only thing about jetting is that you have to start somewhat high and work your way from there, there is really no way to be able to say what because every motor is different. I have about 50 dollars in jets that I bought and cant even use:(. so back to the original question, I had to actually jet down

Someone just pm'd me asking me about it and since I see that there are no other posts about it on the new forum I will start this one. its about the equivalence of a stage 2 or 3 port job. The power that you get is a lot. It takes a Dremel with the flex shaft, a light source that can shine down into the cylinder and a lot of sanding discs. It is pretty simple but it takes a few hours to do both cylinders. If you have patience and a staedy hand you can do this. I juts recommend getting 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 inch sanding drums. Tou will use the 1/4 inch for the corners and the 3/8 and 1/2 for the rest. I wouldnt even use the Dremel sanding drum discs because they dont last that long at all. I found a brand called "Gators" at Home Depot and they where 6 for $1.99 and it took three of these to do one cylinder as opposed to a Dremel sanding drum disc as it took about 14 to do one cylinder. The Dremel's sanding drum discs are about $3.99 for 6.

man some of these guys are taking their "estimated" top speed into reality. Jus because it feels like you are doing 120 or 93 mph doesnt mean you really are. Hell I have 16/41 and I have topped out at 85mph

its fmf's way of getting you to buy their exhaust springs. Yes, they actually sell them. I have the same problem with my SST's and I called them. They said that I can either live with it or buy their springs because they are shorter/better then factory. After feeling like an extreme bamboozlement was being done to me I took a torch with a "cold" flame and compressed the springs to what I thought was god and it helped a lot.
