Whats the benefit of shorter shock eye to eye?

Looking for a banshee repair CD PM me have paypal if $$ is needed.

I know the basic stuff i was looking more for banshee specific, dont i need a flywheel puller and a tool to compress rings so the piston fits into cylinders. I'm tired of paying someone to do the work, when i can easily do it myself.

So im freshening up my new work area for the banshee and noticed im missing alot of tools, what are the tools needed to completely tear down and restore a shee and its engine? Specify which tools must be quality vs standard cost. Thanks!

Picked up a new shee and it came with a fairly brand new set of toomey t6's i dont see any dents or dings, chrome plated. I want to try the DMC 916's. Make a reasonable offer, these are like new! maybe just maybe have 10hrs max from thee looks. I will only ship within US.

Runs great... just has a noise that was told is the cam chain guide? Also has no paper work because it has an aftermarket lightened frame, which in CA lowers its value because you cannot register it to ride at the parks.

I am strickly asking because I found an 06 450 with this motor, long travel suspension, extended axle and swingarm.... +1 stem lots of other goodies for $1800 and i was just going to part it out to pay for banshee parts. Is that a serious offer? Its the new design all aluminum with larger waterports. It cost $2300 just for the kit??

Complete motor, ready to ride but the cam chain guide is making a noise... What could i get roughly??

It does it as soon as the petcock goes to the on position... The floats moves very freely when bottom bowl is off, could something have dirt and be causing this? If so what piece do i need to look for?

Just picked up a banshee and the right side card just pours fuel out like no tomorrow from the over flow tube im guessing this is caused from the float not working but how can i fix it?? I took it apart and sprayed cleaner everywhere but still does it, any tips??

The motor was 100%% lean, i got this banshee in a trade and new from the get go it needed work, i have not checked the carbs but they are stock and im sure they are stock jets with clamp on filters and fmf pipes. Like i said i can see blue in the rods.

I blew the top end meaning i lost compression, the pistons are still intact and not broken, i also did notice both my reeds and missing chunks out of them.

So i blew up my top end.... i was still able to kick it over freely I removed my cylinders and i also noticed there is was a very tiny screw head and maybe 1/4 '' of shaft inside my intake port right after my reeds were pulled out. My kick starter is now frozen and i can not manually move my crank up and down.... any ideas?? My right crank is also blue in color on the lower end of the rod.

2 questions actually... 1. I see some people get lucky and are sent a green sticker when actually they have a red sticker bike, do the park rangers not run the VIN number to see if the bike is actually a green or red? 2nd. If you have a extra green sticker from a dirtbike and put it on a quad does that matter? I know each sticker has numbers and letters like a license plate do any of those indicate what vehicle the sticker is for?

I just wanted to know how the Offset numbers work, I know it doesnt matter what tires you run I was talking about the width of your wheel base, what offset gives you a wider stance. I did put wider tire in my first post, i meant wider stance. "my fault"
