i dont know, my friend said they were all over around here, as for the skid plates their all stock right now, its starting to look like i'm going to have to save up some money and set the quad up for doing this.

I got 21'' mudsharks on the back now and i'm gettin a set of bandits off my frined soon for the front, would that work? also I'm short on cash so am i guna finish the race without 6ply tiers and nerfbars? well its still winter here so i guess i got a few months to see if i'm guna do this.

A friend of mine was telling me he would race hair scrambles with his modded 400ex in the summers, I have a mostly stock banshee right now (air filter, 5gal gas tank, renthal bars, 6-pack rack) he said all I need to get into them is AMA membership (dont have that yet) helmet, chest protector(need that too), and quad with a teather kill (need to find a teather kill). I guess I could get all that at a local shop, but is there any thing else that i would need or that would greatly help?

i prob wont be able to ride till the spring (if the quad is even fixed by then) if any one wants to go riding in hazelton/freeland area then PM me or continue to figure somthing out here also if you want to help contribute helpnig me fix the banshee to go riding sooner pm me

I dont know if any one is from North east PA but the one good riding spot (the peak (hill climb)) was bought by a 4x4 park and now charges a few $ for each run at it. Since that theres been rumors about them buying every good riding sopt around (off the coal companies) and charging to ride at it. Another rumor is the ones they cant buy, or wouldent be worth buying their going to pay the coal companies to level. Any one know any thing about this kind of thing, or if they would even be able to? and by the stolen back part I mean its not our property but why would the coal companys want to take them away sine its just piles of usless silt (to any one but atv riders) when their almost impossible to hurt

this seems to be a dieing topic since i poseted, is this guna happen sometime? if any ones still checking this do any of these places sound framilare the black bitch (i ride ther offten) the peak (havent riddent there, i heard paragon ("adventure park") bought it) the bowl (been there a few times) big ben (havent been there yet) the widdow maker (havent been there yet) therse are some local spots I know of around here, I've only been to a coupel but if there would be a meet up at one of them I could get some one to show me the way there, and if there are any other spots I could ask around and porbly find some one that knows how to get there.

I did'nt replace mine, because I figure if the lights only get so bright when I rev, then the regulator must be regulating. I could be wrong, though. i was thinkin the same, but then i was wondering if that was their maximum brightness or something, because as far as vibration goes mine burn out just sitting there, I've gone off jumps and through all kinds of stuff with them before and nothing, and just now I started thinking... could the cold of had somthing to do with this?

did you replace the regulator?, i called up a local shop and its like $52 so i'm thinking it would just be easier to do that, but if it is just a wire that would prob be a waste of money.

while on the topic of voltage regulators, i think mines shot, (all 3 lights blew at once) my dad was talking to some one about it and they said something about a common problem of one wire coming loose and causing every thing to bypass the voltage regulator, any one know alot about this kind of thing?

another thing that pisses me off... posers... my friend has a warrior he was sayin its the fastest thing ect... any way i start wearin my leather jacket to school , week or so later he has the same one, and is sayin hes sellin his quad and gettin a banshee, no big deal, then he has to make an hour trip to buy the same pants as me, then today the exact same shoes the worst part is is how he keeps buggin me that his stuff is cleaner then newer and it was his idea to buy it before i had it ect....the part with the copying every thing i do is disturbing, but how he brags bout it bein cleaner/newer and sayin it was his idea first and I stole the idea before he had a chance to buy it just pisses me off

the ppl at school that have one of the following 400ex 300ex 250ex blaster warrior or 250x or somthin slow like that that has a pipe on it (and maby the jet kit to go with it) that thinks their fast and will kill my "pussy" stock banshee. Constantly calls me a pussy beacue i wont race but thier quad is the one in the shop or not runnin %100 when i do run into them. And when they do want to race its at 3am in another state or somwhere impossible for me to be "OK my 300ex with a pipe if fixed show up in 10 min at daytona beach flordia if you wana settel this" (I live in PA)

true but little different getting a 400 dollar shee as a PROJECT is a little different than a 5000 dollar shee that was handed to u( i think that was the right amount ..to lazy to go back and look) and u r doing most if not all yourself if i remember right it was a brand new shee with $5000 in work done to it

i think rokon uses a universal joint and a chain, the yamaha one i havent been abel to find(and there for look at) yet

ever hear of rokon? (or somthing like that) their 2x2 dirt bikes (350 ccs i think) from what (i think) i know about them they have an automatic trany (the belt drive thing like in mini bikes) with 3 speeds on top of that: crawl, slow, and not so slow. Their full time 2 wheel drive and i think theres a lot more then 50 of them. but it sounds like what the new yamaha is trying to copy off of.

i'm only 15 so i have not yet drank enough to get a hang over or even drunk (even tho i know plenty of people my age have already) ( I only ever had like one glass of wine or somthing like that on holidays with family) any way just some of these storys about waking up in bath tubs in your own piss (as if it was any better then some one elses) and passing out in a puddel of shit and puke....I realy dont think I'll ever see an upside to getting drunk after hearing some of that.

i'm from drums and in the summer i ride freeland/drifton/hazelton my banshess down rite now but maby in the summer or somthin (hopefuly its fixed by then) we could have a get together or somthin? PS if this is going to happen some one plz PM me because i dont check this section much

i'm 15 and got a used banshee for my 15th birthday that i wanted for like ever, but it's all slow (stock). I think I mite have to come on here and cry about it not haveing $5000 in work done to it sometime. And if some time soon I get that work I think I'm guna be a dumbass and try to street race at twice the speed limit with it then come on here and cry about the "dumbass" cop thats "being a dick" and tryin to keep people safe.

i need new front tires and rims, but have a set of back tires and rims would they fit on the front and what would be the pros and cons of doing this...

mines a 99, and i thought my brake/tail light was constantaly on

you sure the bulbs are good, something similar happend to me and every one was saying my voltage regularot went (let too much power thru) and that blew out both bulbs. Does the tail light work? on mine all the lights just flashed bright then went out.
