  1. Are you trying to get the spindle loose from the ball joints? I used a gear puller....just snug up the puller then hit the end of the ball joint with a hammer

  3. My builder put in FZR600 clutch plates and yz490 springs. It lasted almost 2 years but it is starting to slip alittle now.

  6. 1993 Kawasaki ZX6 with a Muzzy pipe. +4 advance, K&N, corbin gunfighter and lady seat with removable backrest to make sure she's still there
  7. I think that someone needs to make a cover to fit the air filter adapters like the Noss or Pro Flow, so that the air box can be hosed out without worrying about getting water down the intake. I know I'd pay about $20 for something like that, what about you?
  8. I have the Maier race front end, and I'm not so sure that the stock tank shrouds and radiator cover will fit. The stock tank shrouds have tabs that fit into the stock front piece, the Maier does not have these tabs and the race piece doesn't have the slots for these tabs, but the tabs may fit behind the Maier piece. Sorry this doesn't help much and I don't have time to try it out to see for you today.
  9. There is a way to have the best of both worlds.....Maier makes a race cut front end and optional fenders that bolt on. I'm not sure that I would recommend this. I have a Maier front and It really doesn't fit very well, but I thought maybe the optional fenders may fit on cut stock fenders. Just a thought. Here's a link http://www.maier-mfg.com/photos/18967.jpg
  10. Did anyone else happen to see Ozzie on his Banshee this morning on ABC?
  11. Sorry for the slow response, but the only time I look here is when I'm at "work" . I really like the Dyna. my bike starts easier it seems to have helped throttle response and the different curves are good for riding in different terrain. It is a little more expensive then a timing plate but it is a lot easier to install.
  12. I just bought factory blem rear and front race cut fenders. The rear fit just right. I also bought a new radiator cover and tank covers. The whole front end does not fit right, at first I wanted to blame it on the fact the front was a blem and appears slightly warped, but the radiator cover seems like it is too tall and too wide. I had to trim the front section to get the radiator cover to fit close enough, it still is a little jacked up but it doesn't look too bad.
  13. '70ish Suzuki Trail hopper...55cc of pure fold it up and put it in your trunk fun, then Hodaka Ace 100, Honda SL125, IT175..........the list goes on

  16. I was just snooping on this post and saw the price for fenders, I think I'm interested in finding out a little more about this. I need a set of backs in blue, but for that price I may be interested in replacing everything in red, black or silver.
  17. Here is a link to some information about what is going on at Appalachia bay http://www.occra.com/2003/appalachia/appalchia_start.htm I could not attend the meeting last night, but a friend did. It sounds like C.O.B.R.A. is winning this battle however, the riding area will be closed for about 10 weeks while signs are put up and improvements are made to the parking lot. We are still looking for some land in the Tulsa area. even if the bay is saved.
  18. We have just started to look for land. So far we are just a couple of guys thinking out loud and trying to learn how to get a riding area started. But I think some thing will happen but it will be awhile.
  19. Over the Labor Day week-end there was a "confrontation" between boaters and riders. I wasn't there but I heard it got out of hand. So now there has been talk of closing it to riders or charging admission and hiring someone to keep the boaters out of the area. I still think that Tulsa needs some place that is not so tied to the lake level. If the Lake is up it is not as much fun out there.
  20. With the future of Appalachia bay in question, some friends and I are thinking of buying some land to start an OHV park. Just trying to find out if there is enough interest if we found some land within an hours drive of Tulsa and had to charge say $10 a day or come up with a yearly membership for like $100-$150 a year. We have just started to look at land, there will probably be a website going up soon to help promote this idea. Any comments or questions would be greatly appreciated. thanks
