Yeah that 'sounds' right, I've heard in the first bend coming off the cylinder.

To make the stock filter stay in place with the lid off just put a couple screws through the top of the white plastic piece and make sure they go through the airbox. Peanuts.. 2 screws and 5 minutes at the most.

Just wait till you take a spill man, that $6000 machine will be the least of your worries I was the same way until I flew over the handlebars around 50mph and watched the brand new $6000 machine go ass over tea-kettle, at that point I could have cared less if the stupid thing was totalled as long as I was all set. I've been up to the seat in soup-mud, only thing that happened is it took longer to clean Crossed a small stream last season, water up over the radiator, though for sure I'd dround it out as I have no airbox lid, trick is to go fast so the water doesnt have a chance to make it to the airbox

Exactly.. At 70+mph the LAST thing you want is the front/rear to come apart. Sometimes while flying I can picture what would happen at 'this' speed and its NOT good to say the least.

Yeah hold it out. seriously though, I'll hold it open for a couple seconds, close it, open it back up, ect.. until its warmed up, at least with mine leave it open and it'll flood out after a while.

I'll make it down sometime this summer, just bought a truck that I can haul the shee with, still kind of early though, sloppy as hell, went riding locally this weekend and got COVERED driving the shee like its a mud-bogger, its fun but it sucks cleaning your ass up afterwards.

I refuse to use a fuel filter and no problems yet... I just keep the carbs clean to begin with.

Went to my buddies house this weekend, only ran into two and they both waved and I pulled off to let them go by as usual, there were TONS of them around I just missed the 40 machine parades going up the trail, so we built this big ass snowman up to my buds house right beside the trail, you should have seen the size of his schlong, I thought it was funny as hell just watching them go by 30-40 at a time all looking down at BIG frosty.

I get mabe an hour and a half, sometimes a little more sometimes a little less.

Nah it just needs somebody with a computer to plug it into and see what the minor malfunction is, probally just weak fluid or clogged screen, still drive it every day never let me down! 99.9% sure I sold it today, had a guy come check it out and coming back tomorrow with the money, I'll keep ya posted if he doesnt show but I'm sure he will. Hell you could probally get close to $1000 for the engine at the race track.

Will trade the truck for 99 or newer banshee in good running condition. Also consider all those other crappy ATV's. On/off road dirtbike, ect...

Matt.. All three and a couple more, I can't afford the gas aka ol' lady's car/ect.. need the money, but I can ALWAYS use another quad, sheeshhhhhhhh.... Boon, I put about 10 miles a day on it, if that, $50-60 a week.

My area is very similar, I'm running 340's, 27.5 pilots, needle in the middle, super high flow airbox basically like no airbox. Of course this is with stock carbs.
