  1. Assuming you'll have to pay for your own car/gas/insurance, youll need to get a job soon anyway. Since winter is coming up fast, why not get your car and then save over winter to buy parts? If I had to pick one I'd take the money, since that seems to be the major issue here, but youll be sorry later if you go either way.
  2. Since there's noone here that believes you deathmetal, why havent you posted any pics of these "killer hills"?
  3. I change the oil every time I ride as well. It's cheaper than breaking stuff.
  4. I'm not sure theres an answer to the tranny oil question...youll get a million different answers. The big thing is keeping it clean. I run 20w50. Also I run my Amsoil 70/1, and Ive had no problems so far...anything more than that fouls my plugs. Amsoil recommends 100/1 but i'm afraid thats too thin. Not a suggestion...just telling you what i use.
  5. I agree with wheatchex...i think your mains are too small. I would also check the pilots and make sure theyre not plugged up. Next I would go through the synchronizing process for the carbs and make sure theyre tuned correctly and equally. It tells you how to sync the carbs in the Clymer manual...if you dont have one...get one.
  6. This is a good example of how tragic alcohol abuse can be.
  7. I didnt even start riding until I was 21! If you need the money just sell a kidney on ebay...j/k.
  8. I was told the same thing when i bought mine... everyone that said something about how unreliable the shee was, really just had no idea what they were talking about. Less parts to go bad, less downtime when they do. Go with the banshee.
  9. HOOK'D ON EBONIX WORKED FO' ME
  10. i have the fmf sst pipes w/ powercore silencers, and i have gotten good results from them. they're on the expensive side as well.
